I have stayed in many hotels in Japan and all over and Seifuen hotel staff really is exceptional. We stayed three nights while visiting near-by ski resorts during the day and coming back just in time for dinner. The location is a bit away from everything but the shuttle bus service to Tokuga Station and back makes the location ok just 20min from Nagano and Ueda. The dinners were amazing delicacies set beautifully and ready at the time of our reservation time. Onsen facilities are very nice and the water quality excellent. Outside onsen had a beautiful architecture which we appreciated.
