Retreat Cabin with Private Hot Tub
Escape to our West Coast oasis situated amongst two acres of serene cedar and hemlock rainforest. Walk from your doorstep to the Pacific Rim National Park, drive two minutes to explore the Wild Pacific Trail, or five minutes to experience the quaint town of Ucluelet. Return from your adventure to relax in your private hot tub or cozy up by the romantic wood burning fireplace before retiring to your king bed for a restful night's sleep.
The Bracken is designed to deliver the conforts and amenities desired on your trip to the Pacific Rim. The private hot tub is just the icing on the cake.
Featuring hardwood floors throughout the living space with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The luxurious bathroom features heated floors and a deep soaker tub for those that like to indulge in a bath. A full second set of towels, along with beach/ hot tub towels are provided.
The kitchen is outfitted to make cooking for a night in easy. All our cookware and supplies are well kept and ready for your creations. We offer local coffee and a tea to get you off on the right foot. Naturally, wine glasses are always on hand.
The cabin is tech friendly. We are within cell service and the cabin has telus wifi so you can stay connected.... but we won't tell anyone if you claim to be out of range;) There is a smartTV mounted above the fireplace offering direct access to netflix and various apps.
The cabin can be setup to accommodate families of four. We have done away with the futon, added a nice couch, and a double self inflating mattress that is easy to stow during the day. We provide the extra linen, and the fir dinner table seats four.
Post and beam timbers shelter the cabin's exterior living space from the elements for year round enjoyment. The private and carefully maintained hot tub welcomes an evening soak. A couple chairs and propane barbeque round out the deck.
The bracken cabin is at the end of the trail at the back corner of our property. The two adjacent properties are undeveloped so the only neighbourly noise will likely be the wind through the trees. You have exclusive guest access to your cabin and the area surrounding.
We're a call away if you need anything during your stay. From local advice to solving any hiccups that possibly arise, I'll be there.
Our neighbourhood is made up of large residential properties and mostly tucked away in the trees. Our area is unique due to its private rural setting while being only five minutes from town. Proximity to the Pacific Rim National Park (walking distance), and the Wild Pacific Trial trailhead is a fantastic bonus for those who love to explore.
The hot tub is operational year round and continues to receive proper attention after each departure. We follow provincial guidelines for sanitation and operation of the hot tub. Bromine is used in our hot tubs.
We do still welcome 1 well mannered pup who's owners can keep their four legged friends hair and fur off the linen and out of the hot tub. ** Please message us with breed and number of dogs prior to booking if you'd like to bring more than one pup** Guests are responsible for any damage to the cabins, furnishings (including linens), and property caused by their pets. Please include in your booking note: your pups name, and breed. We do not welcome any other type of pets.
The Bracken Cabin is owned and run by Evergreen Forest Cabins Ltd. Scott is the primary guest contact and this is his business.

My partner, son, pup and I were stayed here very comfortably for 3 nights. My son didn’t want to leave! Property is private and perfect if travelling with a child and/or pup.
Sweet spot in the woods, and not far from town. Very clean and well equipped for a couple. There is only one open plan room, but it's a good size, the bathroom is roomy and the hot tub very nicely located. Highly recommend
The host, Scott, was excellent with communication, keeping us updated frequently on the property, clear directions on how to get to the property, and connecting during the stay to ensure we had everything we need. The cabin itself was a good size with all the amenities needed, a full kitchen, well stocked bathroom, and good furniture. The private hot tub on the patio was wonderful. The property is also well isolated from nearby cabins for good privacy. Finally, the location is close to many interesting (including tourist) spots such as national parks, trails and beaches. Overall, we had a great time.
The Braken cabin was a cozy, comfortable getaway to explore the beauty of Ucluelet and Tofino. The cabin had everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable and the setting very calm and quiet. We appreciated Scott allowing us to stay with our two elderly dogs.
Really wish we booked longer. Noticed a few other neat cabins on the property that we would also love to check out. Would give over 5 stars if I could.
The cabin was incredible, all you need to relax and retreat in solitude and privacy. I would absolutely stay again, probably for a longer time! Thank you!
The cabin is very spacious, private and laid out well. We loved staying there and it even had a jacuzzi!

Peaceful weekend getaway
Had a great stay at the cabin. Listening to the birds while sipping coffee on the deck was so peaceful. Close to everything. Just a short car trip (3 minutes) to a great beach. Deck was large and allowed for space to relax. Enjoyed our stay

Perfect Romantic Getaway
Beautiful cabin situated in a beautiful place. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after hiking trails and walking along the beach. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave each morning, but we made it before noon. The kitchen is small but didn't stop me and my sweetie from enjoying delicious meals throughout our stay. Absolutely loved our stay! Big thanks to Scott and Ashley for creating a little piece of heaven on earth for us to enjoy.

Perfect location! Cant wait to go back!
Arrived to a pre warmed gorgeous cabin offset in your own rainforest with all of the amenities required! Cabin was beyond expectations for cleanliness, very well kept! Hot tub was a great addition to this cabin, made for cozy nights in by the fire that much more desireable! This location is truly a 5 minute drive from some of the most scenic views the coast of Van Island has to offer! 25 min drive from Tofino (traffic depending) for some amazing beach experiences. The only side notes would be the heated flooring in the bathroom did not seem to function and the window covering by the comfy king size bed was missing the cord to draw the covering down (kind of bright in the early am but who can sleep late with all that exploring to do!) other than that this place is perfect! Will be recommending to all my friends, cant wait to book this cozy retreat again soon! Thanks again Scott!

Excellent! Highly recommend! Would be happy to stay here again!
This place was so awesome. Clean and had some great features like heated bathroom floors, a jacuzzi, and a hot tub! The location is also good easy access from the road but feels like it’s deep in the forest. Bring firewood if you want a fire...there were fire starters and matches in the cabin already! Great little forest getaway!
