The woodstove located in the house is currently non-operational due to insurance restrictions. However, it is not required as a primary heat source, as the home is fully equipped with electric heating throughout.
KITCHEN:
Cook up a storm in the bright, airy kitchen with white cabinetry, a large island, and all the essentials—microwave, oven, LG propane stove, and plenty of cookware and utensils. The open layout makes it easy to socialize while preparing meals, and the beautiful windows bring in natural light and forest views. Cleaning sprays are provided by local maker Mint Cleaning Supplies. Basics like salt and pepper and olive oil are supplied.
LIVING + DINING ROOM
In the open concept ground floor space there is a dining table that comfortably seats 6. From there, relax in the living room with a plush couch or nestle up in the bay window bench. A smart TV has all the apps so you can have a quiet night in or explore the books and boardgames.
COFFEE + TEA:
Start your mornings with a starter supply of fresh, Dark roast organic from Rhino, and enjoy assorted organic teas from Ucluelet Thay Tea. Whether you love a bold coffee or a calming tea, you’ll be ready to embrace each day. There is a drip coffee maker.
BEDROOMS: 3
Primary Bedroom: On the upper floor, the primary bedroom offers a spacious King Bed with serene forest views and plush linen. A Juliette balcony and adirondack chair makes for a slow morning. An ensuite with a shower is upstairs.
Secondary Bedroom: On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms. This bedroom offers a Queen Bed, with clothing storage and lots of natural light.
Third Bedroom: Twin Bunk beds, ground floor, ideal for kids or additional guests, with cozy bedding and playful decor.
BATHROOMS: 2
Two beautifully appointed bathrooms, one on each floor, each with a shower and bathtub, are stocked with fresh towels, eco-friendly toiletries, and modern fixtures. The spacious bathrooms provide a relaxing retreat after your outdoor adventures. The ground floor bathroom has a separate tub and shower.
Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash provided in both bathrooms so you can travel light. There is a hair dryer for your use.
WORKSPACE:
A dedicated desk area with high-speed Wi-Fi offers a quiet, comfortable space to work or plan your day amid lush greenery and natural light.
OUTDOORS:
This wellness outdoor space really sets Cedar & Salt apart. Step outside onto a stunning private back deck, surrounded by mature cedars and spruce trees. Relax in the hot tub (accommodates 2 2 adults comfortably) or unwind in the barrel sauna (accommodates 4 people)—both exclusive to your group. Post surf, rinse off in the heated outdoor shower and store your boards on the board rack. The deck is perfect for outdoor dining, lounging, or enjoying the peaceful forest atmosphere. The deck off the living room features a BBQ. The property’s natural setting invites you to reconnect with nature right from your doorstep.
LAUNDRY:
Enjoy the convenience of in-unit laundry with a washer and dryer. We proudly use Mint cleaning laundry soap with no artificial fragrances and made in Ucluelet, which is ocean-safe, and perfect for sensitive skin. No dryer sheets are used, making your laundry routine eco-friendly and gentle on your skin.
INTERACTION:
Cedar & Salt is set up for independent check in and stays. There is a Welcome Guide sent to you beforehand and one you can scan at the house. Blue Crush, the local management company, is reachable by text if you have any questions 250 725 0660. There is a lovely long term tenant on the property in a separate suite as per Tofino and provincial bylaw, that respects your privacy and wishes the same in return.

TRANSPORTATION:
Enjoy safe and scenic travel options with a designated multi-use path (MUP), perfect for walkers, bikers, joggers, and strollers. During summer, take advantage of the free shuttle bus from town to the info center. Other transportation options include:
New bus transit connecting Tofino and Ucluelet

EVO Car Rental
To get to Tofino from the mainland, you need to take a ferry to Nanaimo or Victoria. From there, it`s a drive. Anywhere from 3-5 hours. You can also fly into the airport with Pacific Coastal Airlines (the flight is stunning and so quick!) or seasonally, take a float plane from the Vancouver harbour downtown to Tofino harbour downtown.
BOOKING POLICIES:
* 6 guests maximum. Minimum age requirement to book is 25
* There is a long term local tenant on site as per Tofino bylaw in a private suite
* Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus applicable GST, PST, and MRDT taxes.
* During peak summer (June 15 – Sept 15), a 3-night minimum stay is required; stays must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If a one-night gap occurs, we will contact you to shuffle your reservation.
* Mid-season rates apply on winter long weekends and Christmas.
* A 3-night minimum stay is required for all Canadian statutory holidays.
* Discounts of 5-10% are available for stays of 7 nights or more (not during peak season); please contact us to apply.
* Cancellations made more than 30 days prior will receive a 100% refund minus a $50 cancellation fee plus GST. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
* For direct, VRBO and booking.com bookings, a damage deposit is held at check-in and released five business days after check-out, provided no damage occurs.
