Sleeping up to 4 guests, the space blends original character with modern comfort, making it ideal for couples, families or guests seeking a peaceful countryside break. Once the private studio of celebrated British artist Edward Wadsworth, the property carries a remarkable creative history and has welcomed influential figures from the British modern art movement, including Henry Moore, Max Ernst, Paul Nash and Lee Miller. One of Wadsworth’s most famous works, Regalia, was created within these walls, adding a unique cultural significance to your stay.

KITCHEN / LIVING ROOM
The fully equipped kitchen has a washing/dryer combination, Nespresso Coffee Machine, microwave, electric hob, kettle, plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery so you can easily cook up a brunch or lunch for everybody. In addition to this, we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself. The dining table seats up to 6 guests. You’ll find the sociable and light living room set up with a Smart TV and double sofa not yet made up as a bed, making it a lovely space for chilling out, getting together for a few drinks or catching up on the events of the day. If you prefer, you can simply relax and watch a movie on the TV.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a shower, sink, mirror and toilet. There is a separate WC We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels and bath mats. BEDROOMS There are two bedrooms with a mix of sleeping arrangements to suit your needs.

Once home to celebrated British artist Edward Wadsworth, a pioneer of the Vorticism movement and founding member of the influential Unit One group, the property is rich in artistic history and character. Formerly Wadsworth’s private studio, Dairy Close welcomed an extraordinary circle of creative guests over the years, including renowned sculptor Henry Moore alongside modernist icons such as Max Ernst, Paul Nash and Lee Miller. One of Wadsworth’s most famous works, Regalia, was painted here. Today, the studio has been thoughtfully transformed into a spacious and beautifully refurbished two-bedroom holiday home, blending historic charm with modern comfort. Set within the stunning nine-acre parkland grounds of Dairy House, the property sits at the heart of the exclusive private Maresfield Park Estate.
