"The staff was very helpful . Our GPS stopped working and a staff member went on her computer to print out mapquest directions for us . On the negative side, the TV screen was blown so TV did NOT work . I reported this to staff at check in . We were not planning on watching TV so that was not a big deal . There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door , so the cleaning staff missed that one . Other than that , we were satisfied with our stay ."

"The owner was very nice. This is a quaint old inn about 15 minutes from Oneonta. I had my own room and bathroom. I heard from friends that the breakfast was really good, but I didn't eat there. The place was very convenient and well worth the price."

"There was mold on the walls of the bathroom that should be washed off. Carpet in room needs replacing. Also no cream rinse dispenser in shower. At $ 250/night I would expects these improvements."

"This is a lovely rustic one-room cabin in a beautiful location. It is off-grid, with the solar lights and wi-fi working well, and Onalee was such a lovely host - responsive, good communicator, and she followed through in every way. My arrival was delayed until after dark, and she responded by leaving a lantern on the front porch to make sure I could find the lights inside easily. Shower in the outhouse was nice and hot, the towels were laundered and replaced daily, and there is great diner 3 minutes away for breakfasts. Escape and enjoy!"

"This was an excellent stay! It was a surprising little hideaway in what I consider to be a remote place. It’s not The Four Seasons, but it is clean, safe, quiet, offering all of the things that one needs for a comfortable stay. The only thing in the room that didn’t work was the actual phone, which, if you have a cell phone, is really not a deal at all. Pretty comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom, ample parking, and wonderful staff! Bob was so great and very helpful! And, I was so very happy that food delivery service services actively work in the area and Fred’s Inn is down the street from a pretty substantial shopping center. If you have to stay in Norwich New York, I do very much recommend Fred’s Inn."
Otego Home w/ Hot Tub: Near All Star Village!

"We had a wonderful stay while our boys were playing baseball in All Star Village/Cooperstown! The property was incredibly convenient and had all the amenities of home, which made two busy baseball weeks so much easier. The hot tub was an added bonus and the perfect way to relax after long days at the fields. We would definitely stay here again!"
