We contacted the host asking for a rain check or some other way to accommodate us in this situation. She called and we discussed the situation and she said she would get back to us. Cabin literally had everything we needed. Stocked with plates cups, laundry stuff. Connected my phone to the TV to watch movies. Although had a large collection of dvds. Also had a book shelf with some very good reads. Sitting on the deck and living room was relaxing. Nearest town was Napanee or Belleville. Spent some great quality time with my husband , 11 year old and my sister. Its open concept so we always felt cozy. We were a multigenerational group — the kids loved the river and went down everyday to hunt for crayfish with their parents who relaxed in Muskoka chairs alongside. Grandparents stayed up top on the breezy deck reading. The owners were exceptional at communication and the unit was very well equipped. The property is absolutely beautiful and the location was ideal for us! The only downside is that there was no wifi- though some might consider this a very big positive! We would definitely book this property again! ##### Paige R.
