New listing! Enjoy true Tybee Island tranquility when vacationing at Beach and Racquet A221, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom vacation condo overlooking the beach! This second-floor condo offers beautiful views of where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Relax and unwind on your very own private balcony, where guests can watch as container ships travel up the river and witness pods of dolphins play from the comfort of your vacation condo. You’re always only steps away from the shore via private access as well as the resort-style pool within the condo community. The open floor plan, including living, dining, and kitchen areas, features comfortable furnishings with a sofa, recliner, and a large flat-screen TV as well as plenty of cozy, coastal style. The living area looks out directly to the ocean and features access to the balcony. The balcony has a table for 2, perfect for taking in beautiful Tybee sunrises and sunsets. There is a small dining table with seating for 2 and the kitchen comes with an oven/stovetop, a full-size fridge, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Relax in the bedroom that is furnished with a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. This condo will sleep up to 2 comfortably. Includes high-speed wireless internet for your convenience. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant). Parking for this condo is unreserved for 1 vehicle only. You will receive a parking pass at check-in. Located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island directly on the bay where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a beautiful beach area with calm waves. Watch the dolphins play, and the ships come to port. The condo complex features private beach access, a community pool, 3 tennis courts, community grills, bike racks, private parking, and a gated complex. MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings. PETS: This home is not pet friendly EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Great condo for two people

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was in a great location to explore both Tybee Island and Savannah. We loved our waterfront view and proximity of the beach. It was furnished nicely and the bed was comfortable.

Sunset and Dolphin Views

The best experiences of our stay were the sunset and dolphin views, as well as easy access to a quiet beach. The accommodations worked well for us, but as other reviews noted the shower does not drain well. Our one issue was communication with the property manager wasn’t super timely and caused some challenges with our check in. Overall we would definitely visit this rental again!

Perfect view

This property is worth it for the view. It is not big but was perfect for my husband and I. Watched dolphins, beautiful sunsets even saw 2 bald eagles! Very quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful Rental

The unit was charming and well decorated. The view from the balcony was amazing. Pool was nice and the access to the beach was great. We might suggest purchasing more towels for the unit. There were only 4 for the 2 of us, therefore, we had to do laundry. Additionally there were no hand towels. The unit looked as pictured, and we would definitely rent it again.

Almost perfect

We have stayed at the Racquet Club 4 times. We stayed at this same one our 1st year when I believe it was newly renovated. Pros: great location, very clean, comfy seating, comfy bed & well stocked (no pizza pan!)Cons: livingroom tv not so good, dvd player not hooked up, hot water didn't last through two back to back showers & worse of all shower drained slow causing water build up GROSS! Hopefully, these issues will addressed promptly.Overall, we made do because we like this comfy clean condo. See ya'll next year!

Great location but uninvited guest

The location was beautiful, watching the ships, boats and dolphins was amazing. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of kitchen supplies. The one big “con” was the cockroaches. I called The Tybee Rental Agency to let them know and they said that this time of the year it happens and there’s nothing they can do. I messaged them again and they said they would send an exterminator. They apparently did but outside so inside still has cockroaches, my husband killed one the last night we were there. I’ve stayed in many beach condos and this has never happened before.

Tybee rental April 2024

The location on the beach was outstanding. The condo was well equipped. But the smoking policy is a bait and switch. Either you are smoke free or you are not. Since we spent a good bit of time on the patio we really did not appreciate breathing endless cigar smoke. So we won't return. Also, we have never been to beach town that charged a minimum of $8 to park anywhere , another reason we won't be back.

Amazing View

This.was an excellent property. We've stayed at the Beach and Racquet before and this is one of our favorite condos. Probably wont pick it again because theres only a shower, no tub and i am a bath person. I knew it when i booked it. Only problem was one of the balcony chairs was broken and had been taken for repair so there was just one high chair to see over the balcony. We saw dolphins every day sometimes all day! Shrimp boats parked right out where we could see them all night. I do wish the building owner would either add an elevator closer to the end or make a ramp that goes higher than the first floor. Getting our stuff in takes alot of effort. All in all its a great place to stay.

The condo was perfect for our stay. Saw dolphins in the water as soon we walked in the condo. Really enjoyed watching the ships. The condo was very nicely decorated and was very clean. Very quiet area.
