The smiling marlin above the couch is only the first of many smiles you'll experience in this two-bedroom, two bath condo! With new carpet in the bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bath, in addition to a floor-to-ceiling, sliding-glass door leading out onto the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and direct access to the second bathroom. Each bedroom has its own TV, of course- it's vacation time! The fully-equipped kitchen opens into the spacious living area with plenty of velvety, cushy, coastal seating for the entire family. This flows out to the sliding-glass door leading out onto the balcony. The entire unit is bedecked in soothing tones of blue and green, much like the ocean waves that you can hear crashing down just a small walk away. Summer Winds is situated behind Beachside Colony's town homes, but is mere steps away from the beach beyond, with a view overlooking the pool to the horizon. This condo has a large balcony with an interior property view. All of our condos have elevator access. Two assigned parking spaces are available for this condo. located under the building. We were instructed to find the on-site office where we would receive condo entry instructions and a parking pass. When we arrived the office was closed. After a series of phone calls and delays we finally received instructions by text. Reviewer Comments: To start I would not describe this as “beachfront” there were other buildings behind us that hindered the ocean view. The view from our windows/balcony was the parking lot and building behind us. This was not a big deal to us but just for clarification to prospective renters. It was a short walk to the beach that we had private access to but the beach itself was not private. The unit we stayed in was very nice, seemed to be well kept and was clean upon arrival. We tried The Deck restaurant attached to the resort and really enjoyed the food. The pool was also very nice. My only personal complaint was the parking area. There were cement block walls and a portion that jutted out a foot or two from the wall near adult height, the walls were all the same color and I hit my head on this piece so hard I thought I might have to go to the ER. It was not clearly marked as a hazard. Although I am OK, this really put a damper on my vacation for a day or two. Otherwise the unit, location, staff and amenities were pretty great! Reviewer Comments: We had the best family vacation! This was our first time to Tybee and it didn’t disappoint. The condo was very clean, and well stocked. The location to the beach, pool and restaurant were the best part! Everything on the island was within walking distance or a short drive. It was extra hot the week we were there and the A/C was having a hard time keeping up, so the condo was a little warm. Would recommend offering beach chairs for guests to use that couldn’t bring with them, the beach equipment rentals can get pricey for the week. We will definitely be back! ##### Tiffany D. The condo was very comfortable and had all the kitchen items we needed. The washer and dryer really came in handy since we had 2 kids with us. Reviewer Comments: I stayed a week at this rental with 3 other gal pals from church. We enjoyed ourselves so much. The condo was clean , beautiful and very comfortable. We had the best time. I think there should be a safety lock on the inside of the door so no one can just walk in , such as housekeeping 🤣I didn’t understand why the resort had trash pickup so early especially in Saturday after it was just done a day or 2 before. That was strange and sleep disturbing but overall it was wonderful. The staff that I encountered were so kind to us. Very helpful. Especially Doreen. We could walk to the north beach shops and restaurants easily, and the south beach ones were just a bit further in the opposite direction.
