Awesome and cool outdoor seating area shared by all guests of other apartments including outdoor showers to rinse off from a day at the beach. Chill on your own private deck off the room, it's perfect to have a cocktail on & unwind, plus access for streaming your Netflix & Hulu accounts! Rainhead Shower. Grocery store, shops, restaurants, bars are nearby. ONE FREE PARKING PASS FOR YOUR STAY! Worth $48/day! If Pass is accidentally taken home or not returned will be billed ($500) to the guest, and a police report will be filed, no exceptions- please be considerate and thoughtful to the next guests! These passes are not disposable and very hard to come by. Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island. All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals. \*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, and age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in. Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. What a great place! We loved staying at 17th Street Inn for the week. We stayed in #5\. It looked exactly like the photos on VRBO. Our room was small but it was perfect for us. Super comfy bed, nice sized tv, great little kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, little refrigerator, dishwasher and a toaster oven and a little bathroom. The shower had really nice water pressure. We had a incredible little patio outside our room with a couple of Adirondack chairs. It was one our favorite places to relax during our stay. 17th Street Inn has a beautiful, large common space patio. Our room was located in the back. We'd walked through the patio to get to our room. It's like a little oasis. So pretty. But the location was the star of the show. A block from the beach. Two blocks from the bars, restaurants and shops on Tybrissa Street. The owner Jenny was super helpful and friendly but not overbearing. It was the perfect place for us to stay on Tybee Island. It was wonderful. We'd loved staying at 17th Street Inn. The Inn was perfectly located and cute as a button. The owners were super communicative despite an app issue. We requested different pillows during our stay and we’re obliged. Please note that shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the shower are not included. Pack your own, as local availability at the market and convenience stores is limited. There were some limited dishes, silverware, dish soap, cooking utensils, coffee pods, hand soap and shower towels. Plenty enough for us. Bring your own beach towels. There was a toaster oven, a microwave, mini fridge, and dishwasher.
