Steps from North Beach! FREE golf cart on Site! Fantastic house in quiet beach neighborhood! Home is 2170 square feet and features 2 huge wrap around porches, additional large separate deck and plenty of space to relax. Two private beach entrances are only steps away! We are only a few hundred yards from the famous Tybee Lighthouse, North Beach Grille, and all the amenities in the North Tybee area! North Beach is an actual bird sanctuary so wildlife is amazing for walks on the beach and every day, you are virtually guaranteed to see DOLPHINS right off the beach! Update April 2024\* - We purchased a brand new 4 passenger 2024 Evolution Classic Plus Golf Cart that we offer to guests only at no extra costs! And it's already on sight kept in the garage and is there for your use! If interested and we can provide more details! The space We have an elevator for use to haul groceries up to the second level or to use in the event someone has special mobility needs. We ask that children not use the elevator without an adult present. Included is a cart for carrying umbrellas/chairs/towels to the beach. Please be sure to clean it out for the next guest when you leave. We have also included a few beach chairs and umbrellas for your beach enjoyment. The Neighborhood/Area There are two beach accesses in the neighborhood.(See aerial map in photos) \*\*\*\*Covid Update--- The home is located on the quiet and more or less secluded north side of the beach. There are 2 separate private beach entrances so no crowds to deal with. Once on the beach, you have the entire north point of the island to spread out. Even in the busiest weekends in normal times, you would have no problem being 25 yards or more away from any other beach goers. If you want quiet and low crowds in a beautiful spacious home, this is your place! Our home is a short 18 mile straight shot to River St in Savannah so you have the best of all worlds (beach PLUS Savannah!). Uber/Lyft as well as taxi are readily available on Tybee Island We are also just off of Highway 80 on the north side of the island. Walkable to the beach as well and some shops and restaurants. The more touristy area of Tybee is just a short drive away. We have been going to Tybee for several years. Found the location great as it had quick access to the river beach and north beach. Short walk to Fort Screven beach access and Aquatic center which the littles loved. We found the house layout great for our group. We had two families with 9 people and there was plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. Common areas were great. The home was fully stocked with towels, laundry and dish soap, ample T.P., glassware, great A/C, and room for our group of 8 + 3 dogs! Wagon and umbrellas were supplied along with beach toys. It's a quick walk to the beach, although the boardwalk closest to the house was closed. We rented the golf cart as well, and enjoyed using it to get around the island. The only complaint would be that we couldn't find any flashlights or emergency candles when Helene came through and took the power out. We also couldn't find linens for the pull out sofa bed. We had a great time. The house was as advertised. My wife's mother was disabled, so we had chosen this house based on the elevator and it worked great. We had everyone over a couple of times and cooked and played games in the main living area, which is very spacious and everyon enjoyed it. We chose to rent the golf cart and ran around the island mainly to shop and get treats. A close walk from the house was the beach. The beach was not packed and there was plenty of room to setup our Sun Ninja and chairs. Upon returning to the house, we used the outdoor shower to rinse off, very nicely located. I will mention that the beds were great. Everyone was very pleased with how comfortable they were and the great sleep we all had. This was a great stay!!! ##### Brandon S. We had a great vacation, despite hurricane Debby. We had wonderful communication with Sean and Katie about procedures and safety. The house provided everything we could need… plenty of TP, towels, and space. Location was ideal for exploring the beach during lulls in the hurricane and once the sun came out again. 😁. Only a couple things to note: 1\. Garage floods with rain. 2\. Air conditioner drips really bad in the garage. 3\. We had 8 adults, so we put the extension in the table, that was perfect. However, there are not 8 dining chairs. The stools are too tall for the table. Even some folding chairs in the closet would have been fine. We ended up using the bench from the hall. We would absolutely stay here again!! ##### Tricia S. After injuring my knee a few months ago the elevator was an amazing asset, very simple to use and for a private elevator it was very smooth. Checkin /checkout was simple, loved the information link for the house with all the detailed info. Simple to the point instructions that didn’t leave you wondering or second guessing on any detail. Beautiful short walk to the beach,gorgeous sunsets, powdery sand, loved using the two access. Very quiet neighborhood, walked to the lighthouse. Went to Savannah for the day. Ate breakfast at The Breakfast Club, good but we did have to pay 8.00 to park. (Seems like Tybee beach shouldn’t charge for parking in the wintertime, just my opinion:). Kitchen was very nice, plenty of room for a larger family. Hot water was amazing and the spa tub was great, never ran out of hot water. One grocery strore, IGA but others across the bridge aren’t that far. We had great weather during the 4 days we were there, only one rainy morning, for Feb great weather, actually got to 70 degrees on day. Would love to return later in the spring or fall. The large, gorgeously decorated home was immaculate and ready for us early! There was room for a large family, but we stayed in the Master bedroom and enjoyed the adjoining Jetted (Jacuzzi) tub. Even though it was a rainy, windy weekend, we still enjoyed the large wrap-around porches on the 1st and 2nd floors, each with ample places to sit and lounge. It was nice sitting and reading with the breeze cutting the warmth and the wind-chimes chiming. We had a small issue connecting to the wifi, but an email to Sean, the host, had the issue cleared up within a few minutes. There was an error on the guidebook website. Not only did he fix it for us, when I checked the site a few days later, I noticed it was fixed on the site as well. That is customer services, but both us and future guests. Oh, I almost forgot how incredibly helpful the house elevator was during our stay. Just before the trip, I sprained my hip. I could have slowly taken the stairs up all flights needed, but the elevator, made life so much easier during our trip. We paid for the optional golf cart access. Even though we ended up not using it due to the weather, it was nice knowing we had that option at a lower priced than renting on the island. It was a very successful mini-vacation at an extremely nice home with any amenity we could wish for. We would stay again and would recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay in the area. ##### Marie M. It is clean and spacious! Our family of 5 had room to spread out or hang out together. The kitchen/living room is large and open so we could be together preparing meals or snacking.
