Light and bright throughout, it has been furnished with larger groups very much in mind. There are plenty of spacious areas for gathering to drink and dine, but also quieter nooks and crannies. Outside the house the grounds have been just as well thought-out, with an enclosed dog garden and a hot tub. There's also a huge meadow to explore. This is a top-notch holiday home. Ground Floor Hallway A full height hallway with roof lights allows sunlight to flood the room. There's a foldable Riley pool table offering entertainment in the evenings or on poor-weather days. Kitchen and dining room With the kitchen at one end and a cleverly positioned island in the middle, whoever's cooking will never feel removed from the party or miss out on the amazing views from the house. A huge stylish dining table, with comfortable seating is a great spot from which to watch the sun go down. And an outside patio is ideal for alfresco dining on summer evenings. Sitting Room With stunning views across open fields to the Irish Sea on the horizon, the sitting room is a welcoming space with a huge smart TV with sound bar and surround sound (with full Sky package - sport, movies and kids), a wall-mounted electric fireplace and ample seating for all the party and even a karaoke machine. There are doors leading out to the patio. Utility Room A convenient utility room with washer, dryer and a doorway to the garden. Bedroom 1 - En-suite King size bed, with en-suite bathroom featuring a bath, walk-in shower and WC as well as a smart TV. Bedroom 2 King size bed, with countryside views. A shared shower room next door. Bedroom 3 An elegantly styled twin room. Family shower room A large double shower and WC. This bathroom is shared between Bedrooms 2 and 3 Games For evening entertainment or the odd rainy day, inside the house you can find a kids 4-in-1 entertainment table (table football, pool, table tennis and air hockey), mini pin ball machine, large jenga, along with a huge choice of board games as well as toys for toddlers as well. In the shed there is a full-size outdoor table tennis table that can be wheeled out and enjoyed on those nice days! First Floor Bedroom 4 - En-suite with dressing room A large spacious room with a king bed. There's also a dressing room, which is perfect for a travel cot. The en-suite has a bath, walk-in shower and WC. Bedroom 5 - Master en-suite with balcony The dream bedroom, with acres of space. A superking bed looking out over Maelog lake. With its own sofa and coffee table with its own nespresso machine, it's a room to relax in. And there is also a dressing table, smart TV, ample wardrobe space, with a double walk-in wardrobe, which is also the perfect space for travel cots, and an en-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC. Outside Llynfor has loads of space outside. Around the house, there is a patio with a large dining area under a retractable awning. And there is a hot tub under a pagoda, outdoor lounge sofas, a 12-seater dining table, and a Kamodo Bono BBQ for alfresco dining. There is also a purpose built enclosed area for dogs and a large meadow to play in. And there is parking for several cars or even a boat, along with an EV charging station. The Local Area Rhosneigr offers everything needed for the perfect beach holiday, with two expansive sandy beaches and a bustling town in between. Grabbing a morning coffee at Cafe Notos, followed by a walk along the beach, is a nice way to start the day. Or there are surfing lessons available from Gecko. It's also a very popular spot for kiteboarding. Mojo's in Rhosneigr serves up delicious savoury crepes. Great entertainment area outside and as we were blessed with great weather we spent a lot of time outdoors. Only drawback is that as the kitchen had no blinds or curtains it got very warm by the end of the day. The living room has the comfiest sofas and large enough to accommodate all ten of us. All the bedrooms are lovely but the master bedroom is outstanding with a great balcony and views. We will definitely be returning. Absolutely everything you would need to cater for a large group. Hot tub only got used a couple of times but report back was one of the nicest tubs we’d had in all the properties we’ve rented. Customer service started off ok with directions sent promptly (with photos) to property very precise and very helpful. Next email sent ….. no response or reply. But not a big issue. Went in on storm Amy. Patio doors in main (FABULOUS) bedroom blown off runners but a very quick phone call to James, was sorted promptly within an hour on Saturday and was repaired on Monday. Great service. The question we always ask all of us …. Would we go back to property? Resounding YES!! First time response after renting at least a dozen properties ❤️ ##### Karen H. There were a few niggles I had emailed prior to going asking about coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. I was told there would be some left but when we arrived there were none which was disappointing. If you advertise these machines you should provide the pods as these are not things you can just buy at the supermarket. There was a drainage smell in the master bedroom and we couldn’t get that velux window to open so that didn’t help. The oven and trays were not clean which again was disappointing. That said the house was lovely and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful and it wouldn’t stop me from staying again. This property is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in, there was only 1 property we always go back to but now we have another. Our family come for the weekend and some friends stay on for an extra day then it’s just the three of us. There was everything you could ever need without leaving! My Grandson thought it was the “greatest place” he has his own play area, football goals, loads of outdoor toys and a cupboard full in the house too, he was spoilt for choice, then him and our dog running around the 1.5 acres was something special to watch. The house itself is incredible, the master bedroom blew us away. We could see the RAF runway from the balcony and loved seeing the planes and jets. There isn’t anything the owners haven’t thought of, the kitchen is so well equipped I could have baked a cake. I wish we’d found the property sooner, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended for large groups there is so much space, me and the girls were in the kitchen and the boys were watching F1 in the lounge. We walked around the grounds in the evening, enjoying the views and listening to birds. Two members of our family group of 7 painted the views to good effect. All the mod cons you could need for comfort and entertainment were provided, the hot tub was one of our favorites. The nice easy walk to the beach and restaurants/bars like the oyster catcher were an added bonus. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Llynfor for a large family getaway on the beautiful island of Anglesey! However, communication with staff at Oyster Cottage Holidays is an area that needed improving to make the stay at Llynfor a true 5 star experience. It felt like we had to chase information before arrival and even though they did arrange for a couple of issues to be fixed, or attempted to be, we were not updated with engineer arrival times…resulting in an engineer arriving before 7am one day!
