"A wonderful hotel. Very premium and modern aesthetic. Hotel has minimal amenities like soap and hotel slippers and hair dryer only so you need to bring your own shampoo or toothbrush. Breakfast buffet is great. Will stay there again if we hit the area. Location is great , near the tourist boat tour. But there’s nothing much to do other than biking , and walking around a small riverside/nature area. The neighboring Lehde town is cute but super tiny. Can’t imagine being here more than 2 nights."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Turnow-Preilack?
The best area to stay in Turnow-Preilack is within the village of Turnow itself, particularly around the central green and the main roads like Hauptstraße.

Turnow offers a more concentrated selection of guesthouses and local amenities compared to the more spread-out nature of Preilack. For couples seeking a quiet retreat and a taste of rural Brandenburg life, Turnow is an excellent choice. You can enjoy strolls through the village and the surrounding countryside, with easy access to nature trails and the Spreewald biosphere reserve. It's a relaxed base for exploring the region's natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Families will also find Turnow appealing, especially those looking for a peaceful holiday away from city bustle. Many guesthouses offer larger rooms or apartments, and the open spaces around the village provide opportunities for children to play.
