Great Price, Great Location, Great Apartment!

The Hotel Albergo Alba is right downtown Turin within steps of all the sights. There a number of steps and levels that need to be climbed before you get to a tiny elevator. This hotel will not work for someone with handicaps. We had an apartment and it was clean and orderly. You can't beat the price for such a location.

Хорошо расположенный отель недалеко от основных достопримечательностей и набережной Гостеприимные владельцы. При заезде не могли найти наше бронирование, но несмотря на это и языковой барьер, хозяева говорят на итальянском и французском (с английским сложнее) все быстро решили. Высокие потолки, чисто, хороший санузел, удобные кровати. Из недостатков отмечу пожалуй только кондиционер за отдельную плату (впрочем об этом предупреждают еще при бронировании). В целом впечатления очень положительные при случае остановился бы здесь снова.

Kindness and Location More Important Than Frills

The Albergo Alba is a small, family-run hotel. Nothing fancy but I didn't need fancy--I needed proximity to my work location. The neighborhood (i.e., within one-block radius) is nice and has caffes, restaurants, and a grocery store. It is only about 8 blocks from the city center and quite close to the Po River. I had a crisis upon check-in, realizing that I had either lost or had stolen my wallet with all my money, credit cards, and passport. The family was extremely helpful despite our language barrier, going so far beyond the minimum to help me that I teared up in gratitude several times. You couldn't hope to find kinder people. I will forever carry a fondness for the Albergo Alba of 34 Via Maria Vittoria. (And for those wondering, the police found everything but my cash.)

La struttura è gestita con cura e attenzione, ma è vecchia e un po' troppo umile. L'edificio è molto comodo perché è appena ai margini del centro e sulla stessa strada ci sono gli street food attualmente più alla moda di Torino. Ma basta che al piano di sopra due bambini si mettano a correre e si ha l'impressione che sia arrivata una scossa di terremoto.

Hotel Alba, simple, clean, cost-effective

Alba is a small, old-fashioned, traditional hotel. Very clean, Very friendly. The proprietors are very helpful and our conversation was one of the highlights of my Torino stay. One should note that after booking it was noted that air-cond is 7 euro extra. Also, at the time of my stay, the wifi was not working. The hotel is very clean and situated well for tourism.

Hotellin studiohuone osoittautukin tilavaksi apartementoksi aivan Torinon ytimessä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, mutta englanti ei sujunut lainkaan. Lasku oli maksettava käteisellä ja hotellin opastama parkkihalli maksoi 25€/vrk. Kaupunkimusiikkifestivaali, elokuvamuseo Mole Antonella ja automuseo tarjosivat erinomaista kuultavaa ja nähtävää.

Good location

About 10 min cab ride from the southern train station, and less than 5 minute walk from just about all the key sites, the location is great. There is a small supermarket across the street, as well as small eateries on the same street, so that is also very convenient.

Einfaches, sauberes Hotel an idealer Lage

Im ersten Stock eines Wohnhaus gelegenes kleines Hotel. Einfache, aber zweckmässige Zimmer. Frühstück gibt es keines, aber rund um das Hotel gibt es viele Cafés und Restaurants, wo man sich gut verpflegen kann.

この値段で、ロケーションも良く、すぐ近くにスーパーマーケットも有りました。 映画博物館の近くです。主要な観光地は全て歩いて行けるので、バスには1度も乗りませんでした。 私はシングルルーム、洗面台付き、トイレ・バス共同でしたが、共同バスルームの使用者が少ない(恐らく2部屋位のみ)ので、問題なく自由に使えました。 部屋は狭いですが、バスルームも清潔で快適でした！
