Excellent hotel and service
On a cross country drive and so staying in several hotels. This was the 4th hotel and by far the best of the (now 5) I've stayed in so far. The lobby was clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.The room was clean and spacious. They have a flat pet fee, no matter if you have one pet or two with you (which I appreciate). They have a well maintained pet potty area in the back with green grass and several vertical surfaces for the pups to mark.
I accidentally left a memorial necklace for a past pet. Meaningless and worthless to others, but priceless to me. I realized I'd forgotten it about 40 minutes after I left. I called immediately and the very nice front desk person (Samuel) had the cleaning staff search. He called me back about 30 minutes later to tell me he had the necklace and confirmed that it was the correct item. He then agreed to put it in the mail to my home address, charging the shipping to the card I'd used at the hotel. Within 2 hours I had received an email from the USPS with the shipping cost and tracking number so I can keep track of when my necklace will arrive. I am grateful to Samuel for helping me retrieve this irreplaceable memento.
Overall, this was a lovely hotel experience and I will be seeking out Clarion hotels in the future when I travel.
