Nice enough, but bed was sunken in middle. Very clean and looked great. We could hear everything going on in the house and it ruined the experience. Liked not having to deal with anyone for checkin or out.

Hi Dustin I apologize that your experience was less than perfect. Our lovingly restored, turn-of-the-century house does not have soundproofing. We have never received this feedback about noise and I am so very sorry it ruined your experience.

the place was very clean and neat but we saw no staff and were not told that there were steps. We are 80 and had two suitcases to carry up steps, it was very unsafe for my husband that has a bad knee. I think our paperwork sais that there were pastries in the frig and we did not see anything, the frig was pretty bare. The bars that were on the counter to me is not considered pastry. The TV was very difficult for us to figure out and called for help with it and never got a call back. I foung a person that was actually staying there to come in our room and show us how to work it.We looked for clean towels and cloths and could not find any, we don.t use washcloths twice or towels. The stair situation will prohibit us from staying there again.

We absolutely loved this property and the little town. We stayed here on our road trip, we had reservations to tour Jack Daniels Distillery. Love that you kept the old charm of this historic home.

Close to Jack Daniels
We went to Jack Daniels tour the next morning so this was perfect location for a 1 night stay. Just 20 minute drive to JD. Easy self check-in and check-out. Two suggestions (for Norfolk room): need a hand towel ring near the sink and either new mattress or a pillow top mattress pad. The mattress was too firm.

It was just lovely and fun and there were so many little touches around the house. My wife and I were just in shock with all the little things to do. From playing a record to playing some frogger! Our time there was relaxing and fun.

What a charming hidden gem!! It is a renovated old house with individual rooms and baths for guests and lovely common areas to share. We had the entire house to ourselves, with breakfast available for us in the kitchen! An absolute jewel—can’t recommend highly enough!

Shobha, I’m so sorry your stay at our Inn was not what you anticipated. This is our lowest rating in over 4 years and we want to improve. I will be contacting you to get your ideas about ways other than our guest arrival letter and the kitchen placard to tell guests about the breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and pastries that are i the freezer. These could be heated in either the toaster oven or the microwave.

I like the charm of this hotel. I have always lived in old antique homes and this felt close to home.. I despise the new chain hotels with their paper thin walls and endless halls.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights while attending Bonnaroo. The place was perfect — bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and it was very quiet/private.
