"The manager is very nice. The ocean view was nice to see the sky change colors during sunset. There are nice kitties on the resort. My concern booking this unit was not seeing photos of the actual unit I’d be getting rather a ton of photos of units in the resort which vary quite a lot from one another. We ended up in the unit with a lofted bed and very low ceiling beams. My 5’11 partner banged his head very hard in the middle of the night getting up and I hit my head a couple times moving around packing- I’m only 5’4. This was a big frustration for us. the split ac unit also took a long time to cool the space in the loft after turning on when we returned for the night. It is positioned above the balcony door rather than near the loft so it struggled to compete with the rising heat. The unit was clean but clearly dated. A pungent odor frequently came from the shower drain. We stayed for a week and only had 2 rolls of toilet paper provided. We also got a message after booking with my card that they do not take cards and we would have to bring cash to pay on arrival. We researched and this is fairly common for the area I guess, but still didn’t love that. Overall it was fine, it was safe. They did have 2 sets of towels and 2 beach towels. No toiletries like shampoo. If I stayed here again I’d want a different unit with no loft."

"We had an amazingly beautiful 😍ocean view, and a nice big pool. The apartment was clean and roomy. It had everything we needed. Just a small note, there was a kitchen but no stove only a cook top, which was fine. The staff was super accommodating and helpful. The beach is absolutely stunning it’s a 2 min walk from there. Umbrellas are 10$ and 7$ for a chair. There is also a small restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to explore the island, and the rest of their amazing beaches, then you will need to rent a car. The real positive thing about staying on the west side of the island is that you have the 3 of the most beautiful beaches closer by. The best one by far is Grote Knip beach which is an 8 min by car from Playa lagoon. There is a cliff you can climb and jump off from into the water. Bring beach shoes if you are not comfortable walking around on small pebbles or rocks. When you get into the ocean it’s all sand and super clear. Snorkeling gear is a must if you can bring, or you can always go downstairs from the hotel and just rent everything for as long as you need them. It was very convenient to have a dive shop on the premises. The city is about a 45 min drive, but so worth it if you want to experience some music, history, architecture, restaurants, shopping etc.. The closest grocery store is a 25 min drive. A special thank-you to Yuri that made our stay exceptional 🙏. And to Sunny for the car rental. Highly recommend this stay! 😃😃😃"

"The house was better than the listing shows. The view is incredible, with ocean views from every deck and palapa. Hynrich and Cees were so kind and welcoming with great recommendations and quick communication. Everything from laundry on site to a well stocked kitchen was there for our use. Hot water and air conditioning are hard to find on island, and here we found both in one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in the carribean. If you stay, please take care not to touch anything in that beautiful reef- it is a rarity. I hope we can visit again soon!"

"We had a fantastic 9 day stay! We like to scuba dive, and the locations nearby are great (snorkeling great too)! Joel was easy to communicate with - a great host! During down time, just hanging around the back yard with the ocean right there was amazing! Great sunsets and stargazing! We went on some great hikes in the immediate area as well… We highly recommend this property!"

"Excellent place the host and cleaning lady were both excellent to deal with. The facilities were great with little extras like pingpong tables and group dining area etc. note when in the kitchen look carefully at all the drawers the place is fully stocked with equipment but a couple drawers are easy to miss we did the first couple days. Close to great Beach's "

"Great location for anyone looking for a peaceful location on the water and close to scuba sites! We loved being able to descend right into the water from the property.The apartment and amenities were exactly as pictured and described.Peter was an excellebt host and super responsive whenever we had questions.Highly recommend!Thank you for allowing us to stay! We hope to be back again"
