"I travelled with 2 girlfriends and we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool. The villa was very clean and comfortable. When we arrived to check in at 1:30, our room was not ready yet which we assumed it wouldn't be because check in is at 3pm. Had lunch at the rook top restaurant and views were beautiful and the food was delicious, however service was very slow and they were not busy. Our room was not ready for us to check into until well after 5pm and we were given a voucher for $75 XCG (about $37 USA dollars) as an apology. Entire property is clean, beach is small, and all of the staff are very friendly. On Sunday afternoon, we received an email to checkout and I realized that there was an $80 credit for booking with Expedia. I called the front desk to ask if we can use it for dinner that night and was told that it's not $80 at once, but a set of vouchers for either percentages or $ off different items throughout the property. At this point we were checking out the following morning and wouldn't be able to use them. We were given a $40 USA voucher as an apology. Very disappointed in that because it should have been $80 USA, but the manager refused to give that. Overall a good stay, but these few things out a damper on the whole experience. "

"The resort was very clean as was the room. Be prepared to wait in lines alot, anytime you have a question, need to book excursion, or if going to the buffet or trying to get a drink at the bar...not much activity at the resort but the beach was nice and clean. There was one day/night a cargo ship did block the ocean view. We walked into town a couple of times And did a few wonderful excursions. Only real thing to be prepared for is lack of help from staff at the front desk for anything. I ended up booking excursion on line myself through Expedia.Trying to reserve special dinners was frustrating... Get the run around alot, out of 5 nights and numerous attempts, we finally got a seafood one on our last night there..the island was nice to visit and if we ever retuned I believe we would stay somewhere else."

"The hotel was beautiful and clean. The lobby and restaurants were great and the staff were very friendly. DO NOT stay in a garden view room. The view is awful. You’re either looking at the parking lot or dried grass and a fence that overlooks a public parking lot. Those rooms felt more like a Courtyard than a Marriott Beach Resort. When asked to upgrade we were told no rooms were available even though we could see unoccupied rooms. Very disappointed in the room and view. We would stay here again but make sure it had oceanfront view. "

"Place was clean. However very little amount of towels available. They dont come check in on your through out your stay. Mosquitos pretty much eat us alive therefore we could not enjoy the pool as much"

"The property is located in downtown Curacao within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and entertainment. One of the amenities I wish the room would have is a microwave. Otherwise the room is pretty standard for an oceanfront and patio. It overlooks the ocean and shops across from the hotel. We can’t wait to return soon."

"Nice place, we waited for 2-3 hrs for our room to be cleaned but thanks Goodness, the place is all inclusive with free food and drinks while waiting."

"The staff was fine. Some people seemed very happy to help, most only communicated via nods. The best staff was at the cafe, they were always friendly. We wish the pool was open a bit later, the bar is staffed but the area near the pool was empty most nights. The evenings on the resort were surprisingly quiet, there’s almost no nightlife. The AC in our room was stuck at 20C, we asked many times to have it unlocked or at least turn it to 22C, but didn’t get it. The restaurants were meh. Skip Maya, Sofra was great, the seafood tavern was pretty good too! Honestly the buffet was pretty good, the food was consistently tasty and we ended up opting to just eat at the buffet for dinner most nights. Overall we enjoyed the stay, the room was very nice, just needed a good dusting up high (I’m 6’3” and could see a thick layer of dust on the tops of most furniture). The swim up pool was awesome to relax in and sit by during the evenings."

"Would not recommend if you’re accessible. There are no elevators, no body helps you with your luggage’s. The bar staff are very friendly. Reception is rude, and need to be trained properly as each person said something different. "
