A new and GORGEOUS modern cottage in the heart of horse country and at TIEC's back door! Superb hi-quality details with beautiful light and an artistic feel. 3 mins to the front gate, Close to Landrum, Columbus, Tryon, Asheville, Greenville, Lake Lure, and Charlotte. Has a boutique hotel feel and amenities, PEACE & QUIET, full kitchen, office space, fireplace, cute bathrooms, and deck with view. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms—one ensuite to the master bedroom. The nightly charge for the cottage covers for 4 people, with a charge of $35 per night for the 5th - 7th guest (one extra guest can be accommodated on a comfortable inflatable bed). Available for short stays or long-term seasonal rentals. All bookings have a moderate cancellation policy. The internet/WIFI is quite good, and there will be a $5 per day WiFi charge added to your stay.

We stayed two nights at the Modern Cottage while attending an event at TIEC. It is such a convenient location! The owner was so very accommodating with random changes and questions. We would stay here again.

Great location and setup for TIEC

My family experienced a wonderful stay behind the Orange Door while my daughter showed at Tryon Equestrian Center. It's a quick 5 minute drive and so convenient. The house has a wonderful layout, is all updated and has numerous amenities that make this a perfect option for anyone needing accommodations. Monica's communication is top notch and one maintenance need we had was tended to the same day. This will be put on a FAVORITE list!

Amazing stay!!

We loved everything about this house! The open floor plan and beautiful yard were perfect. We were able to enjoy a drink on the porch at the end of day and were only a short drive from Tryon Equestrian Center.

Brand new and full of equestrian charm. All the comforts of home and Monica made it so easy for us to enjoy with restaurant and shopping recommendations, leaving the light on for our late arrival, great WiFi and nice outdoor space to eat, have coffee or a glass of wine. Even better than described!

This was the second time I rented The Orange Door and stayed longer this time. The proximity to TIEC is fantastic! This property is just far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful, but close enough to be convenient to TIEC, Columbus and Tryon for shopping. The property is clean, very nicely decorated and the owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a cold, rainy day during our stay and were able to enjoyed the fire! I highly recommend!

We have stayed at The Orange Door three times now. We returned for many reasons; location, all the comforts of home and the property manager obviously takes great care and pride in providing a beautifully decorated and welcoming home away from home. Our prior visits have been brief and we ate out for lunch and dinner. This time we cooked and found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen -except a blender which Monica promptly provided! Our dog loves it here too! We will definitely be back again!

Beautifully decorated, peaceful and so close to @TIEC!

Monica was very responsive and attentive and her property is clean, comfortable and accurately depicted in VRBO - with one exception - it’s much prettier in person! The beautiful lighting is what I noticed first when I walked into The Orange Door - such an elegant touch - I wish I could post a picture of that and the beautiful sunset from the back patio. The large back yard was great for my dog who loves to run and play frisbee. Monica has created a little gem! I’ve already booked my next visit!
