Classic one story Cape Cod home located on the ocean side of Truro on over an acre of land has 3 bedrooms, 1 sleep sofa and 3 full bathrooms and is comfortably furnished. Upgrades over the years have been, fire pit, renovated laundry room, almost all new windows throughout the house, new Weber grill, Solid Oak Hardwood Floors in the Master Bedroom, Living Room and Dining Room Area and Queen Bedroom, individually controlled Mitsubishi A/C and heat in every room of the house, including the den area, large flat screen tv's, Sony music system compatible with a variety of audio sources, beach chairs, beach umbrella, foosball table, bocce balls and more! The main living room has open beams, a fireplace, and a wall of windows with plenty of places to lounge and read or watch TV. This is also the location of the large dining room table which is perfect for family or group meals. The master bedroom is separate from the main living area and is located at one end of the house. It has a king bed, large flat screen TV, and private bath. The second bedroom is located off of the dining area with 1 queen bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom as well. The third bedroom has two twin/single beds and is located off of the kitchen area with its own access to the back deck area or to the front patio area. Off of this bedroom is another living/den type room at the other end of the house with one sleep sofa and one normal sofa, flat screen TV, dining room table, wood stove, vaulted ceilings, screen doors and screen panels which brings the outside in during the beautiful summer months! The kitchen was completely renovated for the 2019 season with all new cabinets, granite countertops, appliances, dishwasher and more, for your cooking pleasure! Many other kitchen amenities you may need are provided as well. The back deck area has a fire pit, picnic table, patio dining table and chairs, umbrella, and grill, perfectly suited for lunches or BBQ dinners overlooking the lush greenery of the backyard. The front patio area has outdoor seating surrounded by lovely plantings and wonderful sunlight at different times throughout the day. There is a large private outdoor shower which offers the option of having two panels swing open for those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature while in the process of showering! Located in a walk-out basement area is a washer and dryer for your convenience, with plenty of room for bicycles, beach gear, etc. 4 beach chairs are provided as well as a beach umbrella and bocce balls. If you get bored while doing laundry there is a foosball table in the laundry room too! There is plenty of parking, free WiFi, cable, central A/C & heat. Renters of this home are entitled to reduced rates at a Swim Club and Health Complex facility located less than 5 miles away which features a Large Heated Indoor Pool, Kiddie Pool, Slide, Hot Tub, Sauna, Steam Room, Tennis, Basketball, Large Sun Deck, Outdoor Fire Pit, Frozen Drinks and more! Plenty of food options and the drive around Wellfleet, Truro and P town was easily done. The beaches of Truro I think are the best as well. Over all I can’t say a bad word about this listing. No one ever accused us of traveling light. Happily, there was plenty of room for all the stuff for a family of 5 without tripping over things. The main room had lots of room for everyone to sprawl out to play games, watch TV, read a book or just chill out. We very much enjoyed the outdoor shower, which opened up to the woods to give the full outdoor experience while still offering privacy. We have been renting on the Cape for close to 20 years and our family has grown. This gem of a house was perfect for us. We had plenty of space and privacy while also enjoying the gathering areas like the dining room, living room and fire pit! We were close to the beaches and a short drive away from Ptown. We all enjoyed the quietness and out of the way feeling of this property while still being close to the main drag. Beautiful wild beaches on the ocean side, and warm strolling beaches on the bay. Everyone had the space they needed; the fire pit and backyard were a great addition. The kitchen was well stocked and the ductless Heat and A/C units throughout the house was a great feature. The children loved the den and had a lot of fun playing with the games provided as well as the foosball.The location was peaceful and quiet, and the property was a close drive to the Highland Lighthouse, Truro Vineyards and many other sights and activities on the Cape.There were a couple of very minor issues when we first arrived but our host, Adrienne, was super attentive, responded quickly and kindly offered solutions. Bright and clean and roomy. We had a slight problem engaging the air-conditioning system. As we were leaving we laundered all of the linens, however they did not seem to get really dry in the dryer . Water pressure was good and never went cold despite seven people showering, the a/c units really work, sitting out in the chairs out front is so peaceful, just overall a great vacation home. The only thing I would improve upon is the laundry situation. It's very difficult to figure out how to get the laundry done in a short time. We showered the night before leaving to be able to get the towels done, and sheets alone wouldn't be too bad, but we used blankets, and that made it tough. Personally, we'd rather pay more or have the option of calling a linen service to launder them and return them. Other than that, everything was awesome, and we would definitely go back! ##### Melissa K.
