We professionally launder and press all linens and towels. Our cleaners wear masks and gloves during cleaning. They clean and disinfect all surfaces that guests come in contact with such as door handles, light switches, amenities, refrigerator and stove handles, remote controls, etc. This is done every single time between each guest. Perfect for entertaining family and friends, the house has a deluxe chef\`s kitchen, complete with integrated Sub-Zero refrigerator, 6-burner Wolf professional range, Miele dishwasher, Wolf wall oven and steamer, solid oak cabinets, and counter-seating for 4\. All day access is $16 per person with the guest pass. There are 2 passes available, each lets 4 guests in for a total of 8 guests. Take a tour of Tahoe Donner\`s amenities by going to tahoe donner dot com. I am accessible by phone and email. There\`s also a property manager available should you need one. Approximately 20 minutes to Palisades Tahoe or Northstar Tahoe resorts, 3 minutes to Tahoe Donner Ski and Cross Country Center, 15 min to Donner Lake and 12 minutes from historic downtown Truckee. The neighborhood is the Tahoe Donner Resort community, with access to tennis, heated year around pool, golf, restaurants, gym, and lots more. Car is the best way to get around. In winter, chains are recommended. While the house can sleep 10, it\`s ideally suited for max 8 adults due to the bed arrangements (bunk bed and trundles). If you are interested in staying here, please let us know a little about yourself, and that you have read and agree to the house rules when sending an inquiry or booking. Driveway is level, and is cleared of snow regularly by Elements Mountain Company when more than 4\` of snow falls. Please note that there are 2 1/2 bathrooms, so for large groups requiring a lot of bathroom time, it might be an issue. The full baths are in the master bedroom and upstairs. The guest half bathroom is on the first floor. HOA community rules require that all external music and lights be turned off by 10pm. Early and late checkout is available for $50 each when there are no back to back bookings. You can request to check-in at 2pm (instead of 4pm) and checkout at 1pm (instead of 11am). Stayed 7 nights in Aug 2022 ### 8/10 Good #### Chris M. 21 Mar 2021 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Perfect Winter Family Getaway Overall our family had a great time during our 4 night stay at this property. Highlights from top to bottom... 1\. The property owner (Ehab) was responsive and clear in his communications. 2\. The house was great...it's larger than the VRBO listing, with some areas (1 room adjacent to the master bedroom on the first floor; the basement locked via key pad adjacent to the garage; the pantry; the master bedroom closet) locked and not accessible to guests. It is situated on a slight hillside which meant that with sufficient snow - which was true during our stay (2 - 3') - the backyard turns into a brilliant bunny slope for sleds (200 - 300' long) right off the back deck. With twin 4 year olds we spent 90% of our discretionary time there. 3\. The overall condition of the house was not unexpected for a rental with typical wear and tear (e.g. stains on couch, scratches on stove, cracked corner beads, thermostat loose on wall, tile/grout issues in the master bath), however the house is appointed well overall (as described) notwithstanding the cheap paper products highlighted by a previous reviewer. There was also an issue with the hotub, where it tripped due to low water. This is likely attributable to the previous renter having too many people in the tub resulting in overspill, following which the water level was too low for the filters to run. We added 10 gallons and the issue was resolved, and Ehab had the tub serviced the following day. Ideally this serviced would have occurred before our stay. The home's "smart" features were nice; we specifically enjoyed the ubiquitous in ceiling speakers (connected to the Google Hub), Apple TV and radiant floor heating (which we now want in our home!). 4\. Cleanliness could be improved. Floors were cursorily cleaned but remained dirty as evidenced by bottom of socks and crumbs at the baseboards in the kitchen. Our kids slept in the room with the two day beds which appears commonly occupied by a cat(s) as there was ample cat fur on the day beds and bean bags. The upstairs bath was visibly dirty on the shower grout with some white/yellow growth. So, in summary, lots of feedback for the benefit of future renters and in the spirit of improvement. Always best (for all) for expectations to be aligned. At the end of the day, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Ehab's property for the very reasonable price point. ##### Chris M. We were there during a heavy snow storm and it was perfect. The kids were able to play and sled in the front and back yard, after we made a small sled area, but it was perfect. The inside of the home was well stocked and communication with the owner was excellent!! My biggest complaint is the low grade toilet paper. Lol ##### Molly S. We were thrilled when we arrived and found that Ehab's property far exceeded our expectations! The surfaces and materials in his house were excellent and, as a family that enjoys cooking together, we were well pleased with his choice of appliance brands. We were pleased by how well the kitchen was equipped with sharp knives down to the spice drawer to the ample leftover dishes. It was all there. The beds were comfortable and the linens were very nice. We were happy to feed back information to Ehab throughout our stay and he was very responsive to our queries. Thank you, we will be back!
