Enter the home and travel up slate stairs into the open great room, where new wood flooring and cozy mountain touches create a welcoming atmosphere. The living area features a plush leather sofa that seats four, two additional chairs, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace with a sweeping slate hearth. A large flat-screen TV with Apple TV provides streaming capabilities, along with a Blu-ray player and a Super Nintendo for nostalgic family game nights. The great room flows seamlessly into the dining and kitchen areas, creating the perfect space for gathering and entertaining. The dining table comfortably seats eight guests, with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Too expensive - not worth it for price and VRBO fee. Heating at the cabin major problem. First level controls the central heat, but the temperature differential is significant among levels. The main floor and the top loft are frigid. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs; you cannot run the heat at night because the downstairs bedrooms will swelter. Main level does not get warm no matter how much you run the heat. A major issue for a place this expensive. The listing said that the driveway might need a four-wheel drive vehicle. Even an X5 with new all-season tires could not. Do not stay here if a storm is in the forecast. One night the car slid ten feet on the icy driveway simply due to the cold ground ice. The slope of the driveway is extreme. Next night after the snowstorm we couldn't make it up the driveway. Property managers were helpful and one of their guys drove tried to help us clear out snow. He could not make it up the driveway himself in a huge four-wheel drive truck. We left the car on street and snow plows came through. There is no central location to dry your ski/board clothing at the end of the day. Hunted for heat vents to dry socks, boots and gloves. Not enough furniture. A small couch and chair in the living room. Only 1 of 4 burners worked; dishwasher does not clean silverware; master bath shower has a broken door. Good luck. ##### S S. The property manager Holly was responsive and helped work through last minute issues. The house has a nice design with three rooms and a cool area on to the top floor for kids. It doesn’t have a hot tub in the house, but we knew that going in and the website listing was accurate. I am taking off one star because the property is a bit dated, this includes the kitchen pans which were old, the primary shower in main master bedroom was leaking, and cleaning team had not dusted off the furniture in bedrooms well.
