The lake view was great. The condo was on Donner Pass Road with super easy access to Truckee and all the shops and restaurants. The small room upstairs had a very low slanted ceiling - it’s good for kids, but not great for adults. I kept bumping my head on the ceiling from standing up. Not sure there’s a good solution to that! The refrigerator is very old and has a slight stench when you first open it. The kitchen has adequate pots and pans and dishware. If you’re cooking, you’ll need to bring your own oil and salt and pepper.

Nice quiet place on Donner Lake
A nice place on the lake with a nice view. Could use some new pots/pans and utensils. There were no spices at all, so bring them if you chose to stay here (we never found them if they are there). Otherwise a nice place on the lake and close to Trickle for food, etc., and snow resorts.
the location was perfect as we got married at donner on the lake

Spacious condominium
I loved the view from our condominium. It had a wonderful view of Donner Lake. It has its own private beach and dock. Enjoyed just being near the lake.
It was more than we expected. Very happy and will use this one again

Amazing lakefront condo
This charming lakefront condo is a great and central location to stay at. Close to downtown Truckee and ski slopes. We took the free bus that was only one block away to get around. The views alone will make you want to stay and you can also kayak or paddle board. My friends and I take annual trips here and it’s perfect for a girls weekend away. We can’t wait to go back this summer!

Wonderful week on the lake
the wife and I spent 5 days at the home and truly enjoyed our time, the views are amazing and the area quiet and quaint. We teleworked for a few days and then took off into town, Reno, and Tahoe, all within reasonable driving times. You won't be disappointed when you go. Finally a shout out to the mgmt team, I left some valuables in the unit and realized when we got home, called and they went straight to the home and retrieved our things, what a honest team of professionals, thanks again, a wonderful trip and hope to return soon enough.

Beautiful condo by the lake
We are a family of 4 who stayed here for several days of skiing, and it was perfect. This is a beautiful, clean, well-cared for home, with what appear to be recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Everything we needed was there, and in good condition. I especially appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes. It was warm, cozy, and quiet. Although it is a condo, we couldn't hear any noise from the units below or to either side. The main living room and dining area were spacious with attractive and comfortable furniture, as well as a great view right on to the lake. I especially liked the large tiled entry area with bench (with some handy pieces of heavy duty carpeting underneath) for taking off snowy boots, and the kids loved sleeping in the loft. It could also easily have fit a larger group, if needed.

Great Location
Just returned today from a 4 day stay and rebooked for another stay in three weeks to do some bike riding. Good base camp to explore the Tahoe and Truckee area or even Reno.
Lots of shops and restaurants to visit in Truckee . I can only imagine what a great location this is during the summer.
The unit is on the top floor. It was clean, well maintained and welcoming. Nice to have a keyless entry so you don't have to worry about losing a key. The unit has a house binder of instructions which should be updated so you aren't getting conflicting information. Wanted to make a fire, there were ashes in the stove and a stack of wood, but the binder said do not use the stove. Also there are no spices in the place not even salt and pepper, so bring your own. I would definitely recommend this place for couples to families.
Clean, well equipped, beautiful lake views. Really enjoyed!
Next door neighbors really do not like children and approached us to discuss expected noise levels before we had even entered the property. Kids wore slippers and were quiet but just getting up taking dishes to kitchen at 7pm produced knocks against wall from downstairs. Neighbors do vacuum at 5am and idle car at 6am - they ask for total quiet but are in turn inconsiderate. No reflection on our host but maybe expectations should be discussed within a HOA meeting at some point. 7 pm is not quiet time and it's also inappropriate to harass other unit's short term tenants without good cause.
Started our stay by walking in to the condo with the view out the balcony to Donner Lake. Found all linens, with lots of extras for our entire stay and then some. High quality too! Beds very comfy with Tempurpedic top mattresses. Easy-to understand heater control interface. Sat on the balcony in the sun before it set. Took lots of pictures of that beautiful view at different times of the day. Kitchen was well-equipped. Didn’t have to use the extra utensils we brought just in case. Stove top very clean. Bathrooms a little cramped but worked well for just the two of us. Likely wouldn’t want more people, eg up to the max of 4 in listing, due to the 1.5 bathrooms. However, the listing was indeed clear about the bathrooms- no surprises there. The only downside was the exit from the one-way drive-through driveway. The snow was piled so high that we couldn’t see oncoming traffic as we exited. Since cars tended to speed down Donner Pass Rd with the road cleared of snow, this represented a huge collision risk. A truck almost barreled into us on the 2nd day. Suggest the agency pay to have someone clear the snow on the left of the exit to avoid accidents with East-bound traffic or place a large convex traffic mirror to improve visibility. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

Lovely lakeside apartment--with management quirks
This second-floor condo, right on Donner Lake, is lovely. The apartment itself is great—fully equipped, very comfortable, with large windows and a nice balcony overlooking the lake. However, the faceless management company does, let’s say, leave something to be desired. If you need to contact them, be prepared for phone holds. (I gave up the first time after 10 minutes.) The electronic door lock worked as promised on entry, but any way to re-lock it was baffling, and once reached by phone, the management representative couldn’t figure it out either. (I was then given the combination to a physical key lockbox). When we arrived, the kitchen still had some refuse: Open pet food in the refrigerator (ironic, as pets aren’t allowed), and coffee beans spilled (ironic, as they don’t leave any coffee for guests). A day later, someone came in without knocking—and this turned out to be a repairman who had been told the apartment was vacant (no: we still had two days to stay) and was there to fix a toilet (it wasn’t broken) and the electronic lock (which also wasn’t broken, but the repairman could now show me how to lock it!). As I say, this is indeed a lovely and great place to stay, but be prepared for oddities….
