Unit 141 includes a remodeled kitchen with a new 5-top stove oven combo, hood, and spacious stainless-steel refrigerator. The kitchen has all the utensils to make a home-cooked meal, including spices. Along with the latest Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, updated bathroom, freshly painted walls, two 40” Flat-screen TVs, new lighting features, and curtains, unit 141 has everything you need to relax on your vacation at the lake and in the mountains. This downstairs unit is also mere steps away from our BBQs, outdoor eating area, one of our two saunas, and the fireplace lounge.

Great location!

This property is right on the lake with a stunning view! The bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blanket. The pull-out couch worked perfectly for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outside area was well-maintained. The snow park was nearby, along with a few good restaurants. The host was very responsive and easy to contact. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Sweet spot for small family

This was a great find! We stayed one night but was perfect for our family. The complex was quiet which we like and it was very close to Sugar Bowl…extra convenient. The place is like an apartment but a hotel too. It was wonderful to have easy parking to unload all our gear. The kitchen was fully equipped for our food prep except they only had a Kerug coffee maker. It would have been nice to have the option to make it own coffee with a drip maker. The beds were comfortable and size of rentals God for our small family. We’d definitely come back! The best perk was discovering the public lounge space overlooking Donner Lake. It was delightful and beautiful to sit and relax

Great location on Donner Lake

This was a very convenient location for a ski trip with my grandkids: just a short drive from Donner ski areas, a grocery store, and dining. The building is on Donner Lake, which is beautiful, and there was a Property Manager in the main office who was very friendly and helpful. Just a few things to note: (1) As the website says, the 4:00p check-in time is strict, and the codes you receive will not let you into the unit before then. But there are two lounges upstairs with views of the lake, and if you arrive early (like we did) you can wait there to stay warm. (2) I made my reservation through VRBO, but the email with arrival details (with instructions/codes for entering the unit) didn't mention VRBO, plus it went straight to my Spam folder, and the information/email wasn't viewable in the VRBO app (unlike other properties.) So if you can't figure out how to get in, search your email for "Arrival Details for Donner Lake Village." (3) Regarding the access codes, the Outside Gate code isn't used during the snowy season, so perhaps you can ignore that one. When you key in the Exterior Access code to enter the building, the light on the handle will be red (as if the code didn't work -- for some reason the green light doesn't come on), but pull on the door and it should be unlocked. And as I mentioned earlier, the Room Code won't work before 4pm. (4) The sofa bed feels like a traditional sofa bed, so don't expect it to be nearly as comfortable as a regular bed.
