Two loungers on your patio provide an ideal perch for lounging with a vacation read or sipping afternoon beverages. Step inside to the living area where you can recline beside the gas fireplace, stretch out on the sectional in front of the smart TV, or play a board game at the six-person table. Channel your inner chef in the modern kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances. When it's time to eat, gather between the kitchen bar that seats three and the adjacent five-person dining table. A gas fireplace in the dining area adds ambiance and comfort to mealtime.

Tahoe Donner guest passes allow four people per pass to access the recreation facilities, for a total of eight people. A fee of $17 per person/per day will apply.

Great house and great location!

We loved our stay at this house. It was great for our family of all ages - grandparents to small children! The rooms are specious and there are plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the family room was very spacious and a great place to watch tv or play games together. The house is close to a local market, a short drive to truckee and only 20 minutes from Northstar. The amenities available through the Tahoe Donner association are great as well! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful home, but lack of amenities

Beautiful home hidden in a mountain village. But there was no internet connectivity at all for the whole 3 days. I informed support, but no body fixed it. Description said we would have access to garage, but no keys or instructions were provided.

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay overall. The kitchen is well stocked. I was pleased there was enough TP, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, aluminum foil etc. Originally there was no snow shovel, but Vacasa brought us one eventually once we noted the safety challenges with having no snow shovel and a hot tub with 4 feet of snow around it. It is important to note that contrary to what the listing said, there is no garage access, and there are only 2 parking spaces in the driveway, not 3. This is different info that what was noted in a Vacasa response to another guest who wanted garage access. Also there is no guest book with house rules/instructions, so we were guessing as to where things were, how things worked etc. Other than these minor inconveniences, we had a nice time.

Terrible Management

The house was fine but the management company was terrible. We rented a house with specific amenities and those amenities were not available once we got there. We contacted management about issues 12 hours after our stay started and the issues were not addressed by the time we left (4 days later). The consistent response was we will get back to you. Despite being advertised as a place with a garage when we got there we were told no garage access (during a snow storm). We rented a place with access to the community facilities and were charged daily for those passes but there were no passes in the house. When we called about it they said they were with the welcome packet (there was no welcome packet) and we told them they were not, they never responded to us or addressed it again despite calling and texting daily about them. The remote for the heater was broken, we were told it was not despite me sending pictures of it and it was not fixed or addressed (thankfully we on our own were able to figure out how to manually turn it on but they were of no help). Not one person came to the house to check on the issues or fix them. There was no information regarding plowing or snow removal, no shovel or snow removal items. I will never stay in a house managed by Vacasa again. They are not local and every time I called or texted I got a new person and had to repeat my issues over and over again and never had them addressed.
