This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home is located just above Northstar Village, where you can walk or ski down to the gondola, or hop on the free shuttle for easy access to the lifts. This condo is in a very convenient location for all the fun Northstar has to offer. Guests have access to the Northstar Recreation Center for a small daily fee, which includes multiple outdoor hot tubs, a large fitness center, a game room, and seasonal swimming pools. Northstar Resort itself offers endless activities—skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, tubing, shopping, and dining in winter; and golf, tennis, hiking, biking, and roller skating in summer. Just a short drive away, you can also enjoy Lake Tahoe beaches, boating, paddleboarding, parasailing, hiking, and even nightlife at the North Shore casinos. This is a two-level condo with high-end finishes throughout. On the main floor, you will find the entry, master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a half bath, and an open kitchen and living area. The kitchen is beautifully updated with granite countertops, designer cabinetry, and stainless appliances, while the living room features a stunning floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace and large windows overlooking the passing gondola and pine forest. Head upstairs to the second bedroom, a bunk room with a full-over-queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and smart TV. Cons - the space was great for our kids - the upstairs bedroom with the bunk beds had lots of space and a good size en suite bathroom; however, for us parents, the space in the downstairs bedroom was very tight and the bathroom was small as well. Better if rooms were flip-flopped. Also, the window in the downstairs bedroom was literally a couple of feet from a window for the adjacent unit - it was hot that labor day weekend and with no a/c had to open windows. Unfortunately for us, our neighbors had a colicky baby who was screaming all through-out the night and it felt like the baby was in the room with us - didn't make for a good night sleep. I suppose there isn't a whole lot that could have been done about that - I guess other than not staying there when the temps are in the mid-80's, so you don't have to keep windows open at night. Additionally, supplies like foil and plastic wrap were missing.The primary bedroom is quite small, consistent with previous reviews making exiting from one side of the bed impossible.Closets were largely unusable as they were cluttered with miscellaneous items. There were fans and humidifiers placed randomly in every room.The bedroom blind was broken, carpets could benefit from a deep cleaning, and the bedding feels outdated and could use an upgrade.There were no instructions for using the "smart TV," leaving us limited to only basic cable channels through the menu.Overall, while the location and cleanliness were great, the property could benefit from more attention to detail, and a few updates to improve the guest experience. ##### Anne W.
