Everything you need is here, no need to bring anything along. Pull into the easy access level driveway with room for 4 cars, or pull all the way into the attached garage. Step into the large mudroom with plenty of storage for all your gear. On the main floor you'll find a nicely appointed kitchen which opens to the dining room and living room with vaulted ceilings. The open floor plan is great for entertaining, and the dining room seats 6 comfortably with another 3 seats at the kitchen bar. From the dining room step out onto the deck and large backyard with a great sledding hill for the kids in the winter (sleds provided), and in the summer enjoy the Weber gas grill and dine al fresco under the pine trees. In the living room enjoy a 50 inch big screen HDTV as well as beautiful views of the golf course. Also on the first floor is one of 2 master suites with a queen size bed, 32 inch HDTV and attached full bath, a bunkroom with 2 full size bunk beds along with a twin bed to sleep 5 total, and another half bath in the hallway. The washer and dryer are on this floor as well, and access to the attached 2 car garage. On the second floor is the larger master suite with a king size bed, 40 inch HDTV, and huge master bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Next to the master bedroom is a bright and sunny play area for the kids with another TV, books, games and toys. There's also an air hockey table up here. This is a nice area to sleep extra kids on a blow up mattress. There's also a cute bonus sleeping alcove with 2 twin beds, suitable for smaller children. Cable, Amazon Firestick & Wi-Fi are provided throughout the house and the garage has a foosball table and couch which is a nice place to relax. The location on Basque is great for easy access to the golf course and Minor's Camp daycare. The Northstar shuttle is available on demand, and will pick you up at your door and take you to the Village within minutes, where you'll find skiing, several restaurants, ice skating rink, Starbucks, and more. Take the Highlands Gondola up to the Ritz Carlton for drinks or dinner! Or head to the Rec Center for a workout at the full gym, then enjoy the pool and hot tubs. In the summer there's tennis as well! We loved how the kitchen opened up to the dining room and living room so it felt like we had a lot of space. We had some small children so we were able to cook in the kitchen while still keeping an eye on the kids in the living room. The mud room was perfect during the winter. We were able to keep all of our snow gear in the room. We had plenty of room to play and sled in the backyard, which we did on the day it snowed and did not want to drive around. On one of the other days, we went to North Star and used the shuttle service which was extremely convenient and fast. We used the app which showed us how far a shuttle was from us. Ro was extremely helpful and proactive. He provided us with up to date weather information and responded quickly whenever we had a question. He was extremely accommodating. ##### Eileen T. This is a very beautiful, comfortable and cozy home which made our stay enjoyable and memorable. It is definitely a home vice a "rental". It was very well maintained and more than spacious enough for our group of 10 (5 adults, 4 children, 1 teen). All the comforts of home were included, even toys for my 4 year old daughter. The kids loved the small alcove as a bedroom/hideout. The mudroom was fantastic. The home is exactly as described. I felt extremely fortunate to have been able to rent this home on short notice due to a cancellation. The owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to inquiries. They also followed up with current mountain conditions and sent photos. I would highly recommend this home; it is a great value! I only wished there had been more snow when we visited to build our sledding run, which would have been awesome to watch from the back deck. We would love to come back again. We had 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 7 to 9) and this house was just right for us. Plenty of room for socializing with eachother! The back deck was our favorite chill spot. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Everything was in great working order and there were multiple elements that made the home perfect for a couple of families, like plenty of linens, beds, kitchen supplies, board games, and televisions - although the last didn't get much use because we were always out having fun in the area! The owner goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and responds to all questions without delay. I can't say enough about the location. Basing out of here was perfect for the guys to travel to Martis Camp and the ladies and kids to head to the beach or into Truckee. Northstar Village is just up the mountain and has great summertime evening entertainment as well as daytime activities! Loved smores by the fire in the village our last night with me and my son following some yummy sushi and an anniversary dinner at Manzanita at the Ritz Carlton with my husband. Sand Harbor is a great public beach just past Incline Village and The Hyatt Resort beach and Pier are great for evening cocktails while the kids build sand castles. Surpass Kings Beach..not too appealing for us. Gar Wood's Bar and Restaurant around the Cali side of the lake was a wonderful Wednesday afternoon fun spot! There are more great places to eat and visit in nearby Truckee than I can count. The newly opened Morgan's Lobster Shack in Truckee is amazing! I would return here without question for my next trip to Tahoe! The hot tub was so nice to relax in after skiing, and the wood burning fireplace kept it warm and cozy inside. Super easy garage / driveway access, and the shuttle made transportation so convenient. And when I say stocked it had everything we needed and then some. Beds were very comfortable, Hot tub was a lifesaver, back yard had a great sledding hill. Our family of 5 and 2 grandparents were more than comfortable. We were caught up in quite the storm over the Christmas holiday, Ro was nice enough to let us check in early and stay an extra day with all that went on, our family was so appreciative. Although Northstar was closed due to all the snow.. we were able to make it there in no time and we’re about to park before we found out they weren’t opening 🤣. It’s that close !!! Plenty of space for all of us. The back deck with the hot tub was very relaxing. This house is in a quiet area and very close to many fun outdoor activities the area has to offer. On a last minute emergency, we contacted the owner of the home through VRBO and he immediately responded and offered the home as soon as we needed. Very responsive and when we arrived around the time that we told him, he called to make sure that we were settled and that the home was in good condition. Kids had so much fun. And it was very clean & comfortable. Check in was easy and Wow, What a Wonderful location right on the golf course and just steps to the Northstar village. We went rollerskating and mountain biking at Northstar and hung out in the village. The house was so close and it was so easy. Ro is a Very helpful owner. The flat driveway is great when it's snowy and icy out. We used the fireplace and kids loved the bunk room. Hot tub was unfortunately not working while we were there, but owner was responsive and tried to get a technician out. Generally clean and well kept with the exception of the chaise lounge in the living room, which had a lot of dog hair on it (an FYI for those with allergies, which luckily we didn't). This vacation home is in excellent condition, well-maintained, and has three bedrooms. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area. The wood stove was an added benefit warming the living room on those cold winter nights. The Northstar shuttle picks you up at the door and runs all day so it is easy to get to the slopes without having to hassle with driving and parking every time you want to leave the house. The property is maintained by the owner and he was easy to communicate with when making our reservation. ##### David H. The owner is extremely welcoming and responsive. He gave us lots of information and encouraged us to contact him with any questions. They keep the house well-stocked with cooking and bathroom supplies as well as cards and games and the beds and sheets are very comfortable. The kids loved the air hockey table, bean bags and tv in their own little nook. We really enjoyed the open greatroom and hottub and felt very at home there. The access to Northstar village is also great with friendly and timely shuttle drivers, one of whom spoke very highly about the owner. It was hard to leave! ##### Kari G. ---
