"We stayed for 1 night in a premium room. First the best point, the bed was just perfect for us, 6ft wide and super comfy. However, overall the room had a number of annoying niggles: regarding safety and security, the room door wouldn’t close properly without significant effort and noise - not good at any time but particularly inconvenient late at night, the bath had no grab handles to make it safe to enter and exit the bath and using the bath was made more risky by the bath mat being too small - if you had it at the back of the bath to aid entry and exit it was not close enough to the shower head when you were showering and vice-versa. Additionally, the bath surround was particularly worn, the sofa was too grubby to use and there was a broken towel hook on the back of the bathroom door. I can’t help feeling that some of these things could be easily fixed and at moderate cost and that if addressed the overall offering would be significantly enhanced. A shame really as it’s a lovely place and well located for numerous local visits and trips. Maybe we were just unlucky on the room."

"Easy 30 minute walk to the train station. Lovely old building with comfortable rooms. The reception isnt manned until the evenings, we needed to drop our bags early and the breakfast chef was so helpful "

"Ideal accommodation on the outskirts of Bath. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Beautiful countryside views, we saw pheasants chasing each other and a hare from our window! "

"Amazing attention to detail in our room. Quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean and comfy. Genuinely one of if not the best B&B I’ve stayed in. Great location for a lovely canal walk into Bradford on Avon. Staff were lovely and local knowledge invaluable. Will definitely be returning for another stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cow Byre 1 — it surpassed our expectations. The accommodation felt homely with lots of thoughtful touches, and you can really see the care that’s gone into both the property and the grounds. Our son especially loved the games room and used it every day. It was quiet, in a great location, and we still felt a real sense of space and privacy even though it seemed fully booked. We felt it was very good value for money. The hosts were fantastic — nothing was too much trouble. We’d happily recommend to family and friends."

"No contact from host when messaged.They forgot to send the entry code on the day of check in. Despite ringing and leaving numerous messges throughout the day, we had no response so we were unable to access the property.We turned up at the property hoping for some communication only to find it in a poor state of repair and the outside did not reflect the pictures in advert.We had our booking cancelled by Vrbo who were unable to make conact with the host either. Were then offered other accommodation options which would of cost us more money. We declined and fortunately managed to book something else ourselves whilst travelling down.Overall, this made it a very stressful day. Will not use Vrbo again."

"The private suite is located on a quiet, private street close to numerous restaurants, parks, train station, river, canal, local museum, etc. We loved the charming town with so much history and appreciate that it is not commercialized and busy with tourists. Our host was awesome and shared so many great points of interest. If we have the opportunity, we definitely will stay here again."
