A great stay

The proprietor was helpful and informative. The room was clean with great views and a great air conditioner. The breakfast was a great deal and kept us full through dinner.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Moretti. Terrific location. The hotel was once the family home. The owner gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. We took her advice and it turned out to be our finest meal in Trogir. Would come back in a split second.

Nothing but good

The villa is a lovely 17th century building, just five minutes stroll from the old town. The room was spacious, the bathroom modern and the bed was comfortable. Emilia was the most welcoming and helpful of hosts. And they've got parking, which is a definite bonus in Trogir.

Beautiful and peaceful Villa on the waterfront

Sparkling clean room and bathroom. Lovely high ceilings with views of the water and city. It has a great (and massive) balcony where you access the room which has nice seating and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast continental style - pastries, bread, eggs and fruit.

I loved my stay at Villa Moretti. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The view from my room was fantastic. The room was very clean and the décor took me back in time to "old Europe." I really enjoyed relaxing on the large terrace in the back after sight-seeing. It is shared with other rooms, but no one was ever out there when I was there. Great, relaxing stay.

History with a view.

Great to stay in a building that has been owned by the family since the 18th century. Right across a short bridge from Trogir, with a great view of Trogir. Room was quiet despite being under a flight path to the Split airport. Clean and comfortable. This is not a big full service hotel but it had everything I needed.

Mycket rent och fint hotell. Enkel incheckning med bra information av en trevlig personal. Fantastisk inredningsstil med rustika möbler i äldre stil. Häftigt läge med utsikt över gamla staden. Fint med en gemensam altan/balkong med flera trevliga små sittgrupper. Återkommer mer än gärna till detta hotell.

Schönes Haus mit Geschichte in Trogir

Nah am Flughafen schlafen bedeutet auch startende und landende Flugzeuge zu hören. Am diesem Samstag war auf der anderen Wasserseite Party angesagt...... aber irgendwann war dann auch Ruhe. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme...... liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Mit schweren Gepäck sollte man gut gefrühstückt haben, wenn man - so wie wir - ganz oben ein Zimmer bekommen hat. Ein schöner Ort, der es wert ist “ ergangen” zu werden.

Great place to stay.

Emilia and her husband were very welcoming and hospitable. Our room was ready even though we arrived at 10am. Her husband carried our bags up to our room which was on the top floor. The room had a great view over to the Riva and there was also a lovely terrace at that level overlooking the Marina. The room was very clean and comfortable. Emilia was also happy to let our friends leave their bags for the day before their evening flight- a kindness of which they were most appreciative. The Villa is an old Palace in a great location only minutes from the Old Town of Trogir. We were only there 1 night but would have happily stayed longer.

Close to Airport, Boat Trip & History

We only had 4 days available for a short vacation to Croatia and the Split region and were recommended to stay in Trogir since this was close to the airport Villa Moretti is perfectly located to the Old Town of Trogir and 50 meters from hotel we could enter a One Day trip (Three Islands) by boat. Nice Terrace where we had our Morning Coffee

We had a very warm welcome at Villa Moretti. Emilia was very helpful throughout our stay and made it feel more than a hotel. in particular we loved the open veranda outside our rooms which was a lovely cool space for a cup of tea or one occasion a picnic lunch.

Very convenient location on Ciovo island, just 100m from the bridge to Trogir. One of 5 rooms in an old Palace. Room very comfortable. If you like fish, be sure to try the Barba restaurant on the mainland!
