"Excellent Benchmark for Customer Service"
My place of employment uses Hilton brands exclusively for our conferences and trainings, so I'm quite familiar with a wide range of offerings in metro and rural areas. Because of pricing, I typically go for cheaper accommodations personally, but was able to find a steal of a deal on an unpublished rate during my visit to the Tri-Cities. I'd stayed at this location once before, and it was a pleasing experience, but this time, it really outpaced even my highest expectations, specifically in Customer Service.
I was greeted warmly and genuinely, each and every time I stepped through the front doors, and when I would leave. The smiles went for miles, and it wasn't just the front desk staff. All levels of staff, including the maintenance staff person scrubbing the carpet in a humid elevator, seemed to radiate happiness and wanted to wrap you up in it.
The furniture is beginning to show age and wear, surprising for such a young property, but the bed was comfortable, the room immaculate, and any downside to outdated furnishings completely forgiven based on the Customer Service. The front desk staff even called up to my room about twenty minutes after arrival to ensure that I had everything I needed, and to make sure I was comfortable. With most hotels often displaying annoyance at consumers who use travel sites to book accommodations, this one treated me like a king.
Moving forward, this particular Hilton property has earned my business, even if it means spending a little extra.
