Cozy cottage on Reinhard forest near the Sababurg

  • Our small, but fine holiday home with a view of the Reinhardswald is built in log cabin style. It has a great location to relax after hiking or cycling through the beautiful Weser mountain country with all its attractions guaranteed. Ideal for nature and sports-minded people and a paradise for walkers and cyclists.

    Self-catering, romantic, accommodation for summer and winter, heated the cottage with the stove,
    1 bedroom with 2 single beds, open gallery, living / dining room, furnished for 2 persons, satellite TV, radio, CD player, kitchen with 2 plate electric stove, fridge with freezer and coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

    Towels and bedding use any, Firewood is provided.


    Trails German Fairy Tale Road: The log cabin is on the pilgrimage Gottsbüren with his pilgrim paths and hiking trails in the premium nature reserve Holzapetal with the water castle Wülmersen. It is also located near the zoo Sababurg. Many bicycle paths (Weser and Diemel cycle paths) pass through the town and the trail 'German Fairy Tale Road'.

    Sights and canoe tours: Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (about 29 km) is the largest mountain park in Europe.

    Other nearby attractions include the beautiful baroque town of Bad Karlshafen with the crystal-Weserbergland-Therme) and Trendelburg with castle and historic Old Town, both about 6 km.

    Canoe trips on the nearby Diemel (4 km) away.

Die Blockhütte ist gemütlich und hat alles, was man braucht. Im Außenbereich kann man sich auch auf der Terrasse oder dem Balkon erholen. Einen Grill gibt es auch. An kühleren Tage kann man den Ofen anheizen und wird von der Vermieterin auch ausdrücklich dazu ermuntert. Brennholz steht dafür zur Verfügung.

Schöner Urlaub

Auch wenn es nur ein paar tage waren, hab ich den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Eine wunderschöne ruhige Gegend mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das blockhaus ist ein tolles ambiente und die Gastgeber sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles im allen, ein schöner Aufenthalt, top :)

Herbsturlaub

Wir haben ein paar Tage in dem heimeligen Haus verbringen dürfen. Von dort aus kann man schöne Wanderungen unternehmen.Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen.Tolle Wälder in allen Herbstfarben. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in der schönen Blockhütte. Tagsüber kann man sich bei vielfältigen Outdoor-Aktivitäten verausgaben, um sich abends am gemütlichen Holzofen aufzuwärmen und zu entspannen. Margitta ist eine herzliche, aufgeschlossene Gastgeberin, wir danken Dir für die wunderschöne Zeit!

Das Bad war ein Biotop an Spinnen und Staubweben etc. Als Brandschutzbeauftragter bekam ich Schleudertrauma. Obwohl fast alles aus Holz ist und sehr antikem Ofen (für die ganze Hütte), gibt es keine Löschmittel! Die Treppe nach oben ist nicht geeignet für sturzgefährdete Personen sowie muss man sich konzentrieren um nicht zu fallen. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war relativ ok. Empfehlung: eher nein

Schöne Ferien

Das Haus ist klein aber fein. Die Betten schlafen gut. Für zwei Personen ist es groß genug. Wir konnten ruhig draußen sitzen, abends auf dem Balkon in der Sonne. Wir hatten unsere E-bikes dabei und sind sehr viel mit dem Fahrrad den Weser entlang gefahren. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche.
