Remarkable, historic hotel building, freshly renovated, carefully designed interior. Focus on customers might be improved. No available hotel parking, understaffed restaurant, misinformation at recetion desk. Very small spa, massage services available with booking a few days before.

Old to New
We had stayed at this hotel about 17 years ago. It was a classic 1920's hotel then but was remodeled in 2015. It lacks the old charm!! The new version of the hotel is modern and comfortable. The food and service in the dining room is excellent. Great location in this small town.

The hotel is very nice, good location but the rooms are very small, the room amenities are good though except that I asked for toothbrush but it never came. Reception staff are good they gave me an early check in.

I was asking for eueen dize bed. Indtead it eas 2 beds together so the midfle of the bed had gap. And that was not comfy. i could not use the whole bed only one or the other site of the twin beds. Mid part was out of limits coz i eoulf end up in the gap.

Not a bad option in Trencin
We were just here for an evening and it was a pleasant enough stay. The pillows were a bit soft and big for my liking, but the room was clean and roomy. The spa area is worth a visit. There are a few saunas and a pool. This hotel is a great location for exploring Trencin. Parking was extra - 11 EUR in a small open lot behind the hotel.

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of the area, enjoyed the Wellness centre with the hydrotherapy pool and would recommend the massage service a very good massage at a very reasonable cost. Staff were very helpful and hotel was spotless. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold selection, would recommend.

Absolutely hands-down the best hotel I’ve ever had the good fortune of staying at - wonderful attentive service from all the staff, restaurant was 4-star, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations!

Lovely renovated historic hotel.
The staff was professional and very helpful. Trencin is an undiscovered gem - a lovely town underneath an incredible castle. The Hotel Elizabeth is spectacular and an oasis of beauty.

STOP INTO TRENCIN
The town is small, but worth the stop. The castle seems to hang over the Elizabeth. With walks up to the castle, many nice places to eat, including the outdoor terrace at Fatima that looks over the town and valley. Read up on this area's amazing recent ice hockey achievements!, The hotel was just lovely and interesting how they married past and present architecturally, from historic outside to modern inner. Seems to work! Staff was great. Spa an added treat as you are allowed with your stay, use of the large jet pool and several kinds of saunas. Additionally spa services are quite affordable compared to many other countries. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good at the cafe, wines okay, but this is beer country.

A great hotel below the castle
Beautiful old hotel with comfortable modern rooms. The breakfast was an amazing spread with a wonderful assortment of fresh fruits and breads. Made to order omelettes were available too.

Good Hotel , Nice building
Good Hotel The only annoying issue is that they have no free parking We had to park in a parking building near by that cost us 12.5 Euro (Afternoon till morning) . In other hotels we stayed during our 2 weeks tour we had free parking in all hotels except this .

Stay there a couple of times for overnight business trips. Great location to get a good jog in the AM around the river.

Luxury in Trencin
The hotel creates a stunning impression on arrival. We liked the way old parts of the building had been enveloped by the new. We had a very good quality and value meal in the restaurant. A couple of minus points - parts of the hotel were unbearably hot and we had to have the air conditioning on all night (in September) to keep the room at a reasonable temperature; the room was small considering the space in the rest of the hotel: although breakfast went on till 10, freshly cooked items stopped about 8.30 and some parts of the buffet weren't replenished after this time. But all in all its still a lovely hotel in a great location.

Marred by little problems at check in so got off to a bad untrusting start.Location was easy to find and the town centre . Can see why some complained about access if they come via the town if you stay on main road arrives at front door.AC needs a review as each time you took the key out it had to be manually switched back on instead of like the lights & TV coming on automatically when the keycard was inserted. Please don't advertise you have a pool and when I asked to use it it was additional charged as part of Wellness Centre and as the receptions said not really a pool only 3m plunge pool. Little things like these problems should not happen at a 4 star hotel

Best Hotel in Slovakia
Easily the best overall property of our vacation, mostly because of the dinners in the fine restaurant and the two most professional and really excellent servers. After our first meal, it was clear we were going to eat every meal there. This historical property has been very tastefully renovated. Our standard room facing mountain side (looking way up to castle), was quiet enough to sleep with open window. Although not a lot of floor space, the layout was efficient, and a couple can easily move around the bed and access the bathroom. Full featured bath with deep tub, towel warmer, large vessel sink in large marble counter leaving room for toiletries. Provided well known French quality toiletries, and tip towels, that could be used for the face(European hotels do not provide face towels). Room had a safe, and large desk to work on, arm chair, and ottoman. We had massages in Wellness Center, and suggest making appointments upon arrival as they book quickly. Limited parking at street level lot (in the open) was fairly priced. We will certainly return, and can heartily recommend anyone venturing to Slovakia to be sure to include several overnights at the Hotel Elizabeth.

Beautiful hotel in like new condition. Friendly and polite staff. Caution if you get a room facing outward towards the main street - there is a music club disco that is extremely loud in the late hours with music and also patrons leaving after hours. Try to get a room facing inside or not directly across from the music club.

So I didn't realize while booking that this is a "famous" hotel. I just figured the high price was because it was a middle-of-nowhere small town. I'm also not sure why this hotel doesn't advertise as 5 stars, especially given how other establishments seem to play fast and loose with their star rankings in Central Europe. Simply put, the hotel is much classier than I'd ever imagined.Scenically located right beneath the castle, it might be Trencin's second best attraction in itself.

Full marks all round, spotless everywhere, staff friendliness and efficiency, luxury room and facilities, lovely surroundings, spa wonderful and relaxing. Fabulous food, you can even view the dishes on an ipad before you order in the restaurant! Would have no hesitation booking again, in fact can't wait! Very very good hotel, excellent surprise
My first visit to Slovakia and did not know what to expect, did not expect this level of hotel at all. This hotel would stand up against the best anywhere on the globe. The management should be proud.
