(1,002 reviews) We had a really nice stay at Lamothe House. All of the staff were really nice, and we were taken good care of by Pam our housekeeping staff member. Our room was lovely and clean. We had some difficulty connecting to the WiFi in our unit, which was detached from the main building across the street. We could never get it to pick up the correct network as an option to select, but suddenly connected when we stepped outside closer to the main building. Not a huge deal since we weren’t there to stay in and watch tv! The temperatures in New Orleans were unseasonably frigid while we were there, getting down into the 20’s. I’d recommend installation of a rubber door sweep on the bottom of the front door leading directly outside from the room to close the gap, which allowed a lot of air flow. We used a towel to block it.
