"Fridge not working, carpet in front of fridge soaked. Reported to front desk, clerk did not want to switch us to another room. Was told they would try to repair first. Nothing was corrected. They charge a $18 guest fee upon checkin, can be used in their restaurant as credit, but was not convenient to use. Not much parking available aside from valet. "

" Friday 20 March 2026. Motel 6, Bryan (College Station, TX). Attendant front counter said $60 cash deposit required- 3 times. Seemed odd, emphasis on “cash”, especially after cashless payment is the norm. Gave a key and sent me to inspect the room. Returned and gave debit card for security deposit , but attendant demanded drivers license. I gave my military ID, but was unacceptable. Gave wife’s driver’s license instead. Repeated $60 cash deposit for damages. Again, surrended my debit card and it was refused. CASH meant PAPER money. I said, “Fine, please issue a receipt stating room refused for failure to pay paper $60 security deposit.” I can send to Expedia to refute charges for prepaid room. Wife and I sat down in the lobby trying contact Expedia support. Counter attendant refused to issue receipt for prepaid room, called police and told is to leave property. Suspect property is claiming room damage after renter inspects the room and keeping tracerless paper cash security deposits. "

"The room met my basic requirements: safety, security, working air conditioner and TV. Motel staff were friendly however this is the first place I've ever stayed in my life where they wanted a $60 cash-only deposit (lucky I had three $20s). Then when I checked out, I had to wait because they wanted to check my room -- another first-ever. Wireless Internet was very fast ("Wi-Fi 6") and the TV had a great selection of channels. Shampoo is not complimentary but they offered to sell me theirs in the lobby for $2/each. I'm afraid the biggest turnoff was the quality of the towels: after my shower, I was drying off and lots of tiny bits of dust and towel shedded and you could see it in the regular bathroom light. When I looked in the mirror, I had tiny white pieces of towel dotting my body. I felt dirty all over again. So that would be the only reason I would not stay again."

"House was very clean, nice sized back yard in a quiet neighborhood. The sofa in the living room was very comfortable and made relaxing after a hard day at volleyball enjoyable."

"We had an enjoyable stay while in town for a volleyball tournament. The house was located minutes from the facility which made for an easy commute. Beds were comfortable and the house served the purpose well for our trip."

"This is such a cute house and the host added so many personal touches including her welcome note. The house itself is also a good size and had plenty of room for our family of 4. It was located in a good area and was very close to restaurants and to the Legends Event Center for the volleyball tournament we went to. The pictures online are not fake and the house was so clean and decorated just perfectly. We had no issues what so ever and you are getting what you pay for when you rent this place. 2 bedroom, full kitchen, large refrigerator, excellent bathroom, and washer dryer. Plus this place has a nice living room and TVs in all the rooms and a huge backyard. So glad I booked this place over a hotel!!!"
