I was not aware that the apartments was below an optometrist building. I was looking for an apartment complex and we drove around the block a few times. The place however, was very clean and nicely furnished. I would recommend others to stay. I would also recommend the host include extra pillows in case the pull out couch is used and also recommend seeing how an outdoor seating area could be made in the parking lot. We had beautiful weather and it would have been nice to enjoy coffee outside in the morning but being in a basement had no easy access and the parking lot was all that was available. That was a stretch. It is a 10 minute car ride to downtown. The description noted 2 bikes for our use so we left ours at home. There weren't any bikes. The apartment is located below an eye doctor's office. Someone was in the office around 7 AM and you can hear their footsteps, doors closing and muffled voices. Since it is in the "basement", the apartment had no windows so if you wanted to know what the weather was like, you had to go up the stairs and go outside. The contact responded to all questions asked quickly. VRBO sent us a key code for the door which was different than what the contact sent us.
