Pretty stone house with swimming pool in magnificent agricultural area

"This was one of the best holidays we have had as a family. The house was amazing. Dominique had everything in the house you could need as a family. The location was amazing,lots of activities on site to entertain a family , walking the grounds along the river or into near by towns. There was also kayaking and cycling available. There is plenty of options to eat outside including a covered area if was too hot. The views from the outside eating area were stunning and so relaxing. Pool was great , our girls loved it. The pictures do not do this property justice, it was fantastic. Dominique was very warm and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Bedrooms really spacious . We hope to return. Thank you Dominique. "

"from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite."
"We stayed for a family holiday as 3 couples and 1 baby, to attend a wedding in the area. The place is lovely, well set up for a family including a well stocked kitchen (including oven, microwave, tupperwares, high chair), 3 bedrooms (all en suite, + travel cot) large communal spaces and an amazing garden and pool, family bathroom with a bathtub for children. There’s lots of bedding and towels available. The location is stunning and walking distance to one of the most beautiful villages.
We felt very comfortable and had most things we needed.
Only feedback would be that we were not able to use the upstairs bedroom as there was a problem with ants and ants on the bed; I understand this is an ongoing issue and attempts have been made to rectify it, but it resulted in one couple having to sleep on the sofa beds. We also were not permitted to use the BBQ which is a shame as it was listed in the property facilities and welcome book. Other than this we had a great stay. Thank you
