The owner/hostess was so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. It was fun being in a classic old building with all the amenities you could want. I would stay there again.

Super sejour

J'ai passé un très bon séjour. Une chambre propre est très spacieuse, au calme. Un plateau de courtoisie, et un accueil chaleureux. Le repas était excellent copieux et très bien présenté. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

lovely place to stay...

Very hospitable owners. The place is a little rustic, but clean and comfortable. We ate both evenings there and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The pool area is the sun all day and the garden is lovely. We stayed two nights and the room wasn’t serviced but that was ok for us. I can’t say enough how great the hosts were, really nice people.

Nice place to stay

Really nice house with helpful owners. Breakfast was very good. The downside was the local area but we were only there for the night so didn't matter to us. However we spoke to some locals in the not so very good bar and they told us that there were plans for improvements. Hope that's true.

Gem in La Roche Chalais

Uninspiring from roadside but really lovely inside. Great room, super pool, good choices at breakfasts. Absolutely charming and friendly people. Small village with very good restaurant Le Bontemps which hotel will reserve for you as it does get busy. No hesitation in recommending and will usd again when in area.
