Tranquil Ranch w - option to heat POOL and SPA on Cibolo Creek, sleeps 9

42 acres of property that horseshoes the Cibolo Creek. Dark skies, solitude and relaxation on this quite ranch awaits you. The house is approximately a 30 minutes drive to San Antonio or New Braunfels.

House sleeps 9 comfortably and has many outdoor amenities including: pool, hot tub, bird watching, fire pit, outdoor dining area, hiking and picnics creek side.

Enjoy our beautiful pool year-round with optional heating available for your entire stay at a rate of $150 per day. Please note that pool heating is only available for the full duration of your booking and cannot be selected for individual days. If you’d like to add this amenity, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of your stay so we can ensure the pool is perfectly warmed for your arrival.

Property is currently pursuing Wildlife managed land. With this said we do not currently allow hunting or large venues. Fishing is welcomed and there are some great areas.

No smoking inside house. Please put all cigarette butts in the provided outdoor ashtrays.

There is a gas and charcoal grill with grill accessories on site for your use.

Covered parking, (2) refrigerators, onsite laundry, ice maker all on site.

Amazing Property

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay here instead of a hotel in La Vernia. Property and Host were AMAZING! Peaceful and relaxing. House is well appointed and has everything we needed. We are already planning to come back!

Nice place to relax

A very nice place to stay. We really enjoyed the pool. There was a good selection of tools in the kitchen to cook with, and the grill worked beautifully, easy to light. Everything was comfortable and it worked well for our family.

We love that its very private. Pool and hot tub always ready.. i have family that enjoyed fishing at the creek and others who liked walking the trails and enjoy the nature. The 2 fridges come in handy when stocking up. That way we avoid having to leave to the store during our stay!

Great pool!

We enjoyed our stay! House was nice, pool was great! Location is quiet with a fantastic view of the property. Hot tub appeared to be older, control panel wasn't readable, and most of the jets wouldn't come on, but we enjoyed soaking in it a bit anyway.

Perfect Family Getaway

I had the most incredible family getaway at this VRBO rental! The space was absolutely perfect for us, providing ample room for everyone to relax and unwind. The highlight of our stay was definitely the inviting pool and hot tub - it was a hit with both kids and adults alike. We couldn't have asked for a better place to create cherished memories. Highly recommended!

Very peaceful, walked the hiking trail and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We saw lots of different birds, rabbits and butterflies galore. The house was very clean and had everything you would need.

Getaway with extended family

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was what we expected. It is out in the country so plan your meals for grocery runs because it's a little out from stores. But there is a dollar general in a pinch that's close. It was a great experience, thanks for letting us experience your house.

Weekend Vaca

This property is pretty amazing and the house was clean as well as had everything we needed. We were disappointed to find out after renting that the heated pool can only be heated to 85 degrees max. Also, the pool equipment shut off several times. Again, the heat max is not advertised before you rent. The heated pool was the reason we rented this property only to find a lukewarm bath.

2021 Gals Vacation

We had a wonderful time on our vacation this year, the house was very clean and roomy. We like to cook out on the barbecue grille on our vacations, our biggest issue was the grille, the grille here is iffy at best, it took us four hours to cook hamburgers as the burners on the grille are wasted. So we basically bought a tank of propane for nothing. If this grill gets replaced we would love to stay here again as we did have a very awesome time. The swimming pool was so amazing! We would like to thank the owner for sharing her home with us this year. Also, we did find out that the H-E-B in Lavernia will deliver groceries to this location, that also was amazing. Thank you Amber!

Riley's Off to College Trip

Our stay was amazing! I wish I could upload pictures of the creek, it was so beautiful! We explored all over the property and along the creek. The Rino was awesome! We went fishing, catch and released a few small bass. If that wasn't enough we started and finished the days in the pool!! The house is so much bigger then the picture let on and all of the beds were comfy! Great kitchen to work in, we were cooking for 8 so we needed it. When your sitting on the porch looking over the property you feel like your in the middle of your own little world. Like I said, Amazing!! The sunset was the Topper, it when across the whole view from the pool. Breathtaking! We are looking forward to booking again. Thank you Amber for sharing your little peace of heaven with us!
