Just in front of Toyama station, walkable distances to parks, museums, shrines, etc The breakfast was good and free but very busy. Staff were friendly. I really enjoyed my stay, except that I couldn’t book a non-smoking room and I think they should change the rules for non smoking in every room. You can smell the tabaco from the corridors and I saw other guests complaining about the smell too.

The front desk staff were incredible! 👏 They work very hard to put you at ease despite the language barrier. They were very patient, kind, understanding, and very helpful. Perfect location for start of alpine route

Location is great, just 5 mins away from train station. Plenty of eateries as well Room feels comfortable & clean with aircon (not central). There is also water dispenser at the lobby which is good. Amenities given especially for skincare are excellent. They also provide luggage delivery service which is good if you are going to the alpine route highly recommended

It was such a pleasure living at this lovely hotel. It is extremely convenient being located so close to the railway station and good shopping area. There are many restaurants serving a good variety of food around the hotel. It is clean, both in the common areas and the room. The breakfast was generous with a good spread of local food. What a treat. We'll definitely return if we are in the neighbourhood. Kuddos to Toyoko Inn.

The staff were incredible!!! They were professional, kind, and extremely accommodating . They even helped me print out our plane tickets. While our room was lovely, the mattress was like sleeping on concrete. As a result, my husband and had a horrible night sleep. For that reason I cannot recommend this hotel and we will not stay here again if we return to Toyama.

We needed a quick and easy stop for a Shinkansen layover and this was perfect. We were traveling with 6 in our family and so we got 3 rooms so the kids could have their own beds. The service staff was impeccable. The room is small (compared to American standards) but the room felt perfect for sleeping overnight.

Right opposite Dentetsu station which was perfect to get to after we did Alpen-route from Oginawa direction. Stayed 3 nights used hotel as a base for that plus to go to Kanazawa (20 mins by train), & Fukui (45 mins by train) to Dinosaur museum & also look around Toyama itself rather than drag our bags from hotel to hotel in those places plan worked perfectly. Hotel room good as was included breakfast.

The trains going by actually shook the room a small mode each time. The sheer mass of people coming all at once for breakfast, overwhelmed the staff and the facilities. No one could get a coffee or tea for half an hour as the only dispensing machine went down due to the volume. Otherwise, the place was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast options were meh, okay.
