Negatives first: The bathroom could do with a new coat of paint, and the futon on the bunkbed was painfully thin. However, so many positives! Well cared for traditional home with authentic features like tatami floors, sliding doors, futons, trad bathroom plus modern electric toilet, well equipped kitchen The owner (Himeno-san) was lovely and let me check in early which was very much appreciated, the other staff were friendly and chatty too. It's about 8minutes walk from OkudachugakkoMae station on the Portram line or 18minutes from main train station. Very quiet residential area with supermarket 3 minute walk away. There's one super mart within 3 minutes walk so it's convenient if you need to get something. The bed is clean and comfortable. As the size of the guesthouse is not too big, it's easier for you to talk to the people who also stay there.
