This was a good place to stay and super close to the football stadium. It was clean tidy and spacious. The bed however could have been much better. Not great when you hear and feel the springs when you move in bed.

The unit 24 was addiquuit in furnishings. However the apartment or air conditioning smells of mould. Particularly the bedroom aircon.

Quite poor
Had a five day stay, apartment was okay but quite dated and really needs a good clean and a bit of TLC. We had issues with a leaking ceiling, in the lounge, from the hole where the missing ceiling fan should be (which talking to reception it’s clear that it won’t be fixed anytime soon). The air conditioning also constantly dripped water leaving puddles on the floor and was noisy in the bedrooms. Quite poorly equipped for self catering e.g only one knife (a bread knife) for food preparation and a random mix of odd mismatched cutlery. Property does have a nice roof top pool and secure underground parking but I would not stay again.

Good room size, loved the balcony, the gym and the pool, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight negative was the bed was a bit small, we have a king size bed at home

They moved my booking (which was booked in March) from a 2 bedroom apartment to a double room. Took 2.5hrs but they eventually put us up in a different hotel then back with them the next night. They are expecting us to pay for the night they messed up and they took the funds out of my bank account 2 days after check out. The manager states that because he paid 3 times the amount for one nights accommodation I should still pay for their accommodation even though they made the mistake. Will never stay with this hotel group again. The manager is a joke.

Great find
A perfect stopover for me and my family - husband and two older children. Reception team were super helpful when we arrived late and couldn’t receive the text on a UK mobile. 3 bed apartment very comfortable and well equipped. We all slept very well. Parking underneath a bonus. Would recommend.

Overall the cleanliness wasn't great. There are hair and stains on the bed sheets, broken screen doors in both living room and master bedroom. The pots and pans are so dirty that aren't usable. It just doesn't look like the property was properly maintained & I stayed in room HC30.

Special Gem in Townsville
Great hotel in a central location to CBD, sports stadium, Ross River sidewalk & entertainment. Apartment had heaps of space & well appointed. As I arrived late, aircon & lights were kindly left on for convenience. Great value Hotel.

Was a great motel with an awesome pool. So close to the city, and right next to sports bar and Mexican take away. Also amazing view of the river.

There was a sticky granular brown debris on the floor of the bedroom when I checked in, which was late at night. The next morning when I woke I found further similar debris on the sheet in was sleeping on. Suffice to sday they obviously had not been changed since the previous guest. Did not respond to my polite request for a refund.

The room we stayed in had stains all over the walls and carpets. We had to put a blanket on the lounge to try soften it up because the springs were starting to poke through the top for comfort. The room slept 5 yet only had one 3 seater lounge so not big enough for the whole family to sit on anyway. The air conditioners were old and out dated. Made funny noises and stunk we had to turn them off. They need to go through the kitchen and check/upgrade some kitchen cooking utensils. I hardly call one saucepan and an old frying pan with the Teflon coming off enough to cook with.
