There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. \*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors. \*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. And it'd be nice to give people directions for the TV use. We had to call the number to get them. It should be listed in your book there or by the tv. You have a very nice cabin and we actually had a bear visit us on the porch one evening..luckily we were inside when it showed up..but a big surprise..loved seeing it actually. We called upon arrival and they did not care. It rained and we had to park by the pool and walk. The hill is steep and I have a knee replacement. The cabin smelled musty too and alot of furniture crammed into small space. There were no space for groceries, to hang or store clothes. And a washer/dryer was thought to be in the cabin and it is not. ##### Scott H. This cabin was super easy to find with the signs. Great hosts and super clean and comfy! It may have said this in the description and I didn’t read carefully- but warning that it is straight up a hill to get to! I’m glad we brought our SUV instead of our car. :) ##### Emily L. Well stocked with all the necessities, close to town, and cozy. The hill to cabin is no joke and difficult in a small car on a wet road- but that just added to the excitement! ##### Kristin P. Cabin was well suited for the 2 of us. It was well stocked and decorated nicely. Bed was firm but comfortable. Be prepared for the drive up to the cabin. The road is narrow and the angles sharp. But hey you are in the mountains so there's that. Hot tub was good but could be upgraded. It was in a good location if looking for a quiet weekend away which we were and somewhat secluded.
