"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

"The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have an evening meal as the reviews we read put us off a little but did have breakfast which was adequate although no buffet breakfast was available. The property itself l felt could do with a little TLC here and there ie paintwork seemed a little tired in places. It was very hot in the room although a fan had been provided. We only stayed for one night to break up a longer journey so it was fine for our needs."
