The apartment we had was on the ground overlooking nature (with trails).well equipped: stove, diswasher, microwave, refrigerator At this timeof the year not too many people, so it was quiet. The snack bar was not open (only summer ) but we had excellent recommendations for restaurants near by. I understood that it is a place for families and long stay in the summer: beautiful lake, swimming, trails …,"

"The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. The excellent Comptoir restaurant next door (book ahead) is a real bonus and the boulangerie and convenience store were great too. "We enjoyed a wonderful week at this charming historic village home. Pierre’s wife met us at the house to leave the keys and show us around. Despite the language barrier we were able to understand some of what she told us. There did seem to be some miscommunication about towels for the kitchen and bath being provided but she was kind enough to supply those after we requested them. We had no other issues and found the location of the house to be perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside...

Loved the quaintness of the building and its location being next to restaurants and in short walking distance to Le Cité. I even liked the bell ringing at random times.
