"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"Ecolodge Beauregard wasn't what I was expecting. Don't take that as a negative it was a lovely location in the french countryside. The staff went above and beyond to help me get to the location, and make me feel at home. I would absolutely reccomend taking a car to get there, taxis are very expensive and Uber doesn't operate in this part of France. "Everything was great! We booked this place for our group of just under 30 people. We especially enjoyed the main room of the guest house, the terrace, the jacuzzi, and the pool. The kitchens are well-stocked and suitable for cooking large meals, especially if you make use of multiple of them at once. We'd recommend getting delivery in from a local supermarket if you don't have a car (as we didn't). The surrounding area is super peaceful and nice for walking in.It's worth noting that for the extra beds (for if you have more than about 22 people) you need to provide your own bedding, including duvets. We also had to pop out to buy some amenities that we thought might be provided (soap in the bathrooms, sponges for washing) on the first day, which wasn't a big problem, but you might want to bring some beforehand!Nevertheless, everything was great and me and my friends had a fantastic time!"
