"The home and location were great - large, spacious home with lots of room to spread out (we had 8 people: 3 adults, 2 teens, and 3 children ranging from 3-11), we really liked that the kitchen was fully equipped to cook in, the upstairs and downstairs living rooms gave us plenty of space for the kids to play, and the adults really enjoyed spending mornings and evenings out on the porch (located off the upstairs living room). The house was just a few minutes' drive away from many restaurants, shops, the Price Chopper and Family Dollar are just down the road, as well as being just a short drive from the pool, zip-lining, hiking trails, and more. We also really liked that the trail to walk the Pemigewasset River was right behind the home, with easy access from the fire pit area and hot tub.There were some problems in the home that I do want to address: The doors all have French handles and therefore make it tricky to child-proof - it was very easy for my 3-year-old to exit the home (out the front door, back door as well as getting out onto the 2nd floor porch/deck). There were 2 bathtubs, but neither seemed to plug up to actually have a bath for the kids. The tv in the upstairs bedroom (with the 2 double beds) was not working. There was a rotten/garbage smell coming from upstairs living room (near fireplace/couch). Downstairs, the windowless queen bedroom did not have lock on door and mattress was absolutely TERRIBLE - uncomfy! Downstairs bathroom door also had a broken lock."
