"We came to La Rocca after 3 days in Venice. The place is beautiful and the host is fantastic. The view and nature is great and we live in Norway. The viewpoint (15min walk) is a great photo oportunity of Garda and Bardolini. Book a seat at the restaurant before you come. We came late easter and everything was full. The breakfast is very good, not the variety of a hotel buffet but the quality is much better. They make every kind of egg and have homemade cakes etc. Quality>qantity and that’s why...

Top Toscolano Maderno Hotel Reviews

Lakefront villa with secular park, private jetty and pool 10 km from Salò

Lakefront villa with secular park, private jetty and pool 10 km from Salò

10/10 Excellent
"The Property was actually nicer than the pictures! It was roomy, and the grounds are beautiful! The lake was right out of the front gate, and the walking path along the lake went both ways from the property. We had rented a car, there was plenty of room to park on the property, but we walked most of the time. There were restaurants and coffee places and of course gelato very close. We were there end of Sept/early Oct so was a bit cold to swim in the lovely pool, but the weather was pleasant enough to sit outside. There is a spa; we needed a bit of help to get it to heat. We got a wonderful referral to a local chef for an evening (we were a family of 10 people) so it was a great splurge to have an excellent meal prepared for us in the kitchen. (Chef was Luca of Gardemomo). Communication with the owner was very quick. We would love to stay again, we had a truly memorable time."
