Spectacular Property in the Italian Country Side

Fantastic property - our family of 5 from the US stayed at this property and it was really perfect. Nice setting and very private after spending a few days in Rome. We enjoyed the pool and spectacular views and the house was very charming, clean and had everything we needed. Host was very helpful and made check in very easy. Highly recommend. Mike

This place is a fantastic retreat in an authentic family home situated in a rural location with good access links to Rome. The views are amazing and can be admired from the pool and other outside spaces. The host was extremely helpful and available to answer any questions or queries. The accommodation had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for a relaxing family break.

Comfortabel huis met uniek uitzicht, op een uur van Rome

Zelden op zo een mooie plek gezeten! Vanaf het terras uitzicht over de Tiber en het huis en de tuin met zwembad zijn van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeker na een dagje cultuur in Rome is het hier heerlijk toeven.

Tolles Haus, Unglaublicher Ausblick

Das Haus ist wunderschön und fühlt sich irgendwie geschichtsträchtig an. Der Garten ist groß und sehr gepflegt. Der Ausblick lässt sich kaum beschreiben! Auch wenn wir Pablo nicht persönlich kennen gelernt haben, hat er sich per Telefon und SMS sehr um uns gekümmert. Wir kommen wieder!

Une maison belle, calme et confortable, un paysage inoubliable, une situation unique

La propriété « Torrita Tiberina » a beaucoup à donner : c’est une vraie maison de vacances, bien dessinée avec son grand et haut salon, et fabuleusement placée à l’ombre de grands arbres au-dessus d’une magnifique et très protégée boucle (fiasco) du Tibre. Nous aurions regardé toute la journée ce paysage large sur presque 360 degrés, qui s’étend, au sud, jusqu’à Rome et Frascati et change sans cesse au gré du vent et de la lumière. Le jardin offre une infinité de possibilités de s’y reposer, à l’ombre, autour de la piscine aux dimensions parfaites, ou, le matin, à l’une des tables installées face au panorama pour admirer d’au-dessus, comme d’un avion, la brume cotonneuse fondant au soleil, ou un vol de canards... Un grand merci à Tiziana pour sa disponibilité, ainsi qu’au jardinier et au technicien de piscine qui assurent la beauté et l’usage optimal du lieu. Il n'a vraiment rien manqué pour notre confort, y compris les riches bibliothèques qui livrent un peu de l'histoire du lieu et de ses propriétaires. Quelques uns de nos bonheurs « hors guides » de cette année, tout proches de la maison : Casperia, village ramassé comme un caillou sculpté, un peu au nord, en s’arrêtant d’abord à Cantalupo pour admirer son palazzo en ruine avant qu’il tombe… ; la promenade le long du Tibre, bien sûr, qui, sous Nazzano, suit un fantastique chemin de bois sur plusieurs centaines de mètres, ou, de l’autre côté, longe des champs d’où nous saluent des moutons, des buffalas, des ânes et des chevaux par dizaines ; Poggio Mirteto et le restaurant l’Emporio, sur la grand’place ; à Torrita même, le petit fornaio propose tout de bon dont de ces gâteaux aux amandes… ; le ‘bar de nos vacances’ (il en faut un), nous l’avons dégoté à Nazzano, et n’oubliez pas de monter, par le fort, jusqu’à la petite place bordée de maisons multicolores d’où l’on devine la maison. Un peu plus loin, de l’autre côté de la vallée et de l’autoroute, nous conseillons le lac de Bracciano : l’impressionnant château se visite, Anguillara est superbe au coucher de soleil et les buvettes de bord de lac donnent toutes envie.

Maison splendide

Maison splendide, pleine de charme. Un jardin à en couper le souffle avec piscine et vue sur le Tibre, digne d'une carte postale. Accueil très chaleureux et la personne qui s'occupe du lieu fait preuve de disponibilité. Nous aurions bien prolongé nos vacances !!!

Wonderfull family home on the hill

We stayed one relaxing week in TorritaTiberana. We hardly left the villa. We did not feel the need. The big garden surrounding the house is totally secluded. With a wonderfull view over the land of the Tiber. A 240 degrees paronamic view. The trees giving the necessary and very welcome shade. A light breeze made it a wonderfull place to just relax reed a book and feel on top of the world.

Beautiful house with a stunning view.

The house was big, clean and practical. The outside was as great with a nice pool and alot of different areas where you could sit both in the sun and in the shadow for those really warm days. Its a nice place to relax.

Belle villa avec piscine. Emplacement merveilleux.

Grande et belle villa, bien aménagée, bien équipée, avec une grande piscine et une vue merveilleuse sur le Tibre. C'était un plaisir, le soir, de s’asseoir dans le jardin pour profiter du soleil couchant. Grand jardin par ailleurs, situation très calme. Rome est à une heure, facilement accessible en voiture (en tout cas moins de bouchons que sur Paris). La personne qui a fait l'accueil est très sympathique et de bons conseils. Le seul problème était l'absence de directives pour l'entretien de la piscine (en plus il n'y avait pas de produits d'avance). Mais elle est restée opérationnelle sur toute la semaine. Hormis ce détail, c'était un vrai plaisir que de séjourner dans cette villa que je recommande sans problème.

Maison familiale très agréable Jardin impeccable avec une vue magnifique nous n avons eu aucun soucis avec l électricité La propriétaire est très disponible J ai demandé à plusieurs reprises des renseignements complémentaires et les réponses ont toujours été très rapide Tiziana qui nous accueille sur place est adorable Très bon séjour, après les visites à Rome quel plaisir de se retrouver au calme

"Cette maison est un vrai...

"Cette maison est un vrai bonheur, avec une âme. Véritable maison de famille, elle en a tous les avantages et très peu d''inconvénients (électricité parfois mystérieuse!!). Nous y avons passé trois semaines vraiment agréables en alternant visite de Rome et environs et journée à la piscine. La propriétaire n''est pas sur place mais possibilité d''appeler Jardinier ou femme de ménage en cas de souci. La piscine était nettoyée une fois par semaine. Equipement maison complet et parfaitement fonctionnel. Un seul réel inconvénient du à l''absence de connexion internet dont on a du mal à se passer aujourd''hui!! A recommander alternions"

"Capacité électrique trop faible d''où pêtages de plombs réguliers dès que plusieurs lumières et appareils ensemble à partir de 22h. Equipement de la cuisine sommaire : nous avons dû acheter des verres. Mais superbe maison avec une vue à couper le souffle. Un environnement ultra-tranquille. Nous étions 2 familles de 4 qui avons énormément profité du jardin et de la piscine. Gardiens de la masion qui habitait le même village charmants et disponibles dès que nécessaire. Maison en pleine campagne romaine. Nécessité d''une voiture pour visiter tous les superbes villages typiques alentours. Peu de touristes. Quel bonheur."
