"Everything about Jefferson House was perfect. It was located in a beautiful part of Connecticut adjoining a state park. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a large island for dining. The bed, pillows and living room furnishings were very comfortable. The house was well up-to-date with two TVs, a charging device with multiple cords, a double oven (!), and countless thoughtful touches. I cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"House exactly as listed. We had a question and the property owner replied instantly - great communication. Close to Talcott Mountain which was an amazing hike with beautiful views. "

"Everything was great, just 2 things… Is only 1 tv for the whole apartment, and there is another apartment upstairs and you can hear everything….other than that everything was great."

"Great location. Alexander was very responsive to any requests. Met our needs. "

"There were minor cleaning issues in the bathroom, and my only/biggest complaint is the listing is misleading as it says you have no neighbors but the space is physically attached to a larger house and the driveway and entry/exit doors for both units open into the same small space. Additionally the front door has a large glass window with no curtains so you have absolutely no privacy. This is a direct conflict with the listing and I did bring this up to the landlord. That being said the location...

"My husband and I came down from Boston for Christmas to see family and couldn’t find one decent hotel in the area. We were relieved to find this place. Cute, comfortable, clean environment and just what we needed. "

"Terrible, worst stay ever . It was such a hassle to get in no clear instructions… never again"

"We can't wait for our next visit north to stay here again. Great location with easy access to the highway, Hartford entertainment, etc. -- and just a short walk to West Harfford Center. And our favorite Chinese (Black Bamboo, thanks Sunny!) is just around the corner. The home is perfect for us, with the 1/2 bath downstairs being an added bonus. The upstairs renovated bathroom is great too. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker (with coffee supplied) and delicious...

"The house was perfect. We came in for my son’s wedding and had family staying from all over- Canada, Arkansas and Florida. The house worked out perfect. All the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a bit of a steep staircase to enter the house which can be tricky for the elderly but completely doable. I would definitely rent this property again if needed."

"Immaculate, nice decor, very comfortable beds, every detail is well thought out. "

"I had wondered about the amenities. the coffee pot was not cleaned , actually had mold in it , and the carpet was lifting at one corner, where i kept tripping on it. I certainly appreciated the rest ! As it was during the turkey holiday and easy to find through downtown Hartford "
