È in un quartiere residenziale molto tranquillo, per chi cerca una vacanza rilassante (essendo in una strada chiusa e quindi poco trafficata) ma, nel contempo, a 200m vi è la litoranea salentina.... e si è al centro di tutto! le spiagge solo libere e il mare è incantevole! A pochi km c’è la bellissima Campomarino con le sue Dune (sito protetto e Bandiera Blu da molti anni ormai) ci sono spiagge attrezzate, con i loro aperitivi e le loro feste cool che sapranno darti la giusta carica nei weekend e nelle serate. vicini sono anche \- Manduria, antica terra messapica, già cantata da Plinio il Vecchio, oggi terra del vino Primitivo, racchiusa tra distese di vigneti, masserie e cantine che accolgono e arricchiscono della loro storia i turisti con i percorsi degustativi, oltre che la splendida oasi naturalistica "Salina dei monaci" dove poter ammirare i fenicotteri rosa \- Oria, antico borgo medievale dove ha vissuto lo "stupor mundi" Federico II, e che qui eresse imponente castello medievale.
