"Clean room and contemporary bathroom with a large tub and shower combo. Restaurant isn’t opened on weekends which was disappointing. We struggled to get the room comfortable with the air conditioning."

"Lovely setting and very unusual rooms within the castle - very good facilities and excellent breakfast choices, plus great meals in the restaurant in the evening with attentive staff. Returning for an overnight stop on our journey back to the ferry crossing at Santander, would highly recommend and we will visit again whenever we travel this way next! 😍"

"Hotel was pleasant enough. Nice bar and well located. Only complaint would be with the Hotels app, terrible. Not sure what has happened to it over last few years but won't be using again. No confirmation email, not allowing bookings, app drops out. One customer moving over to apps."

"I booked based on price and Expedia guest reviews. Upon arrival I looked at Google Maps to see check-in time since I was early, but when I saw VERY negative guest reviews there I was very concerned and had I seen them I would not have booked here. With apprehension I entered and requested early check-in. I was greeted and my request accommodated. There was strong chemical odor that dissipated after opening my windows, but other than that the room was clean and very nice. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. No English at all, but I'm in Spain so IMHO the language issue is on me. Great location. I extended 2 additional days. Great value. Will stay again. "
